Better than season 2?

I'd say the first 2 seasons were better definitely. But season 3 and 4 still miles better than any of the other crap on TV.

I understand it’s the name of the game but if I get to the final and lose to someone I was confident was a traitor and who has lied to me throughout, I’m not sure how you don’t kick off or at the very least feel a certain type of way towards that person. I’d have the arse with them forever

It’s a game?

When it got down to the last three Stephen was going to win either the whole pot or half of it. He effectively gifted Amanda £47,000 that would also have been his by sticking to their mutual promise not to put each others name on the slate. I’m just not too sure that she would have done the same.

Does anyone else watch the start and the end intensely and then zone out completely during the tasks? Genuinely, I watched every episode and remember the trojan horse task at the start, the dam task at the end.... and that's pretty much it lol

That part of the show just doesn't register with me for some reason. Maybe I've got ADHD lol

I enjoyed the haunted house in the woods task with nods to classic horror films including Carrie at the graveside.

Also, the fairground. I would've been projectile vomiting if I had to take a turn on that carousel!

I still watch the tasks as it does sometimes give pointers as to why opinions are formed later. Prefer not to have seen Faraaz milking Jack, though :revenge:

Fair play to Stephen splitting the money - he had an open goal to take the lot, I guess he couldn’t stomach screwing Jack and Rachel and paid £47k for the privilege of not going head to head with her after the show. He might regret this in a few years when the euphoria of the experience has evaporated!

For me, yes, probably 4,2,1,3 in order (just U.K.). 3 was ok but I couldn’t stand Leanne so that kinda ruined it.

Yup, I’m always bored. I really wish they’d actually have some game related mechanics to help people work out who the traitors are like blood on the clocktower or werewolf, but I’m a nerd and no doubt most people would hate that. Always feels like 99% of the time the faithfuls just have nothing to go on other than “they looked a bit funny once”.

I agree she’d have taken the lot I’m fairly sure. She was very confident on Uncloaked in saying that she was always going to keep her promise, but very easy to say given that there was never any point she had to make a big decision about it, unlike Steven.

Fair play to him for his personal integrity, not sure many would have acted in the same way he did.

Season 2 was the best, then this one IMO. why didn’t they show them coming out the castle to see the other finalists fuming like in the other seasons? Best bit of the whole show

I always wish that there was 5-10 mins after the win for them all to reunite and everyone just hating on the traitors. Would be great TV.

I don't mind the tasks so much, I think it's a nice contrast to the tension at breakfast and then the round tables.

There's some nuggets of info that can be gleaned during the tasks. You get people stitching themselves up (James and hiding the shield) and then some funny moments in some too.

Creates a nice balance across the show to help build up motives - whether valid or not.

I'm confident that Rachel would have screwed Stephen over given the chance. All her early comments suggested it but the way the game played out, she never got the chance and had to rely on him to win anything.

I’d be going straight into that castle with the theory that one of Rob, Romesh or James is a traitor. I’d be surprised if none are. Money is probably on Romesh.

Or is that the double bluff … ?
