Players you hate(d) XI

Just a bit of fun now we're hopefully witnessing the beginning of the end for a certain fluffy-haired defender at LCFC - I challenge you to put together a starting line-up of players you actively dislike, or disliked at the time they were playing. Could be because of attitude, could be off-field shenanigans, could be because they were just THAT bad, could be a combination of all three.  I'll start with a team from my 30 years following the Foxes that would personally have me handing back my season ticket...

       Ben Marshall     Wise     Soumare

               Tete    Akinbiyi   Gray
 

 

Admittedly I struggled with the front three - I don't think there's a player I genuinely hate even with our club's current sorry state there, more a case of not living up to expectations or being frustratingly inconsistent (having one good game in ten is known as "Demarai Gray Syndrome" in our family). I gave Akinbiyi the nod over Daka, because while I was young I vividly remember being at Filbert Street and it being the first time I heard us boo one of our own players.

 

But everything behind that was rich pickings going back thirty years. We've had some right whoppers - I was debating Ricardo (GK) and Matt Mills (CB) for those positions, but Ward actively contributed to the position we're in today, and Brown's politics were more Lazio than Leicester, so they get the nod.

Gray's extremely harsh imo but can't argue many of the others. Joe Mattock should probably be there though, and Matt Mills

Don't think we've had 10 more like Wise in the other positions though. Slim pickings in attack in particular

Hated the signing because he was expensive and shit but primarily I can’t stand the “he’s such a good leader/talker/personality/pro” bluster, he’s a f ucking blagger.

Was a long time ago now but was Gillespie liked here? I know he was a part of the La Manga saga with Dickov and Sinclair but can't remember much about his time here
