Last season (especially once Fatawu was injured and there was literally nothing to be positive about) you could pick a whole XI of players it was reasonable to heavily dislike for one reason or another.

Ward (if he hadn’t made himself unavailable)

Kristiansen

Faes

Vestergaard

Coady

Thomas

Soumare

Winks (Skipp if he was on the Aperols)

Mavididi (probably the harshest inclusion but jesus he’s frustrating at best)

Decordova-Reid

Ayew

Not just because they’re shit but for practically all of them attitude-wise too (a lot of people hate Daka but he hasn’t got a bad work ethic, he’s just the worst striker you could have bought for £23million).

Justin a lot of people hated too but he’s clearly a nice guy who always tried hard but had a shocker of a season surrounded by dross. Hamza’s lucky he was out on loan. BEK was more of a retrospective bellend.

And only two of this XI have gone permanently.

Yep.

I will never forgive the way he downed tools towards the end of his spell here. That game V Arsenal (or at least I think it was Arsenal) when he just ****ing gave up running back, purely because he couldn’t be ****ing arsed, and they scored

Great player on his day…. fantastic goal to win the FA cup, but once he lost interest, he lost interest, he was unforgivable the season we went down, one of the many key reasons too thanks to his complete lack of effort and care.

But even with that, he played quality in plenty of other games. And there's several other players who didn't even begin to pick up tools let alone have the chance to down them!

Who on earth is saying Simpson Mahrez that’s absolutely insane 😂

I think there’s a very understandable reason why people might say Simpson.

Tbf its more revisionism with him. He was crap and ended up doing time for a pretty violent assault IIRC

Oh I see I wasn’t aware. In that case he’s a cock

Wise definitely

Keown comes very close.

99% of the rest  mentioned were mostly crap players so blame the managers who signed them.

Vestergaard I genuinely dislike.

There's a fine line between dislike and not being good enough. The likes of Sylla, Hammond and Low are among the worse players I've seen but I didn't dislike them, they just weren't good enough.

I don’t know any of them personally do dislike them in all honesty. A few I’d rather not have seen ever played for us.

Our players that I have met and I include Joe Mattock in this, have always come across quite well when I’ve spoken to them.

Sometimes agents do players a disservice, sometimes the players themselves (Bilal El

Khannous syndrome) just dig themselves holes. I can see why people don’t take to people like Maddison for the way he comes across. However then people like Tielemans get accused of downing tools. For all we know, he could be playing through injuries etc, which limits his ability. Then we have people like Evans, Bertrand and going further back Morris, that have spent more time injured as they basically were not deemed fit enough.

Perez is another one, as he clearly had more ability than most gave him credit for. If he’s signed for £1m, he’s a cult hero. He did so much donkey work and grafting so others like Maddison could produce. His record since leaving us tells you that he was good enough. Just not in the role we played him in.

I guess it’s like every day life. We will all know people that we can dislike in a work environment, but out of work they’re okay.

I’d say De Vries gets a pass for Spurs alone. Fully accept he was largely rubbish otherwise.

Never warmed to Steffen Freund when he was here. Ghezzal also used to irritate me, basically for not being Mahrez (probably not his fault!).

Who doesn't love a 6-3-2?

Ward (Doesn't need explaining)

Faes (Doesn't need explaining)

Vesty (Doesn't need explaining)

Fofana (Attitude)

Bennett (Maybe harsh but cost us the most)

Mattock (Probably sound, but for that moment in town)

Chilwell (Never liked him)

Wise (Doesn't need explaining)

Jarrett (Just a horrendous footballer)

Soumare (Doesn't need explaining)

Beckford (Attitude)

Wesley Fofana is lucky we've had so many bellend centre backs

At least he signed another contract so we got a good price for him whereas Tielemans

13 year old me was bought a replica shirt in early 98/99 and I chose to get Sinclair on the back because he was great when he came and I was a bit weird and different. Then about 10 months later when the own goals began I became a figure of ridicule on the playing fields of West Norfolk. So in that sense I do hate him.

I always remember his last minute own goal v Chelsea at Filbert Street in 1999 at the start of the season to square the match - to the ironic cheers of their away fans obviously who we'd signed him from of course!
