Divine Mukasa Arrives From Manchester City On Loan

We have agreed the loan signing of promising young midfielder Divine Mukasa from Manchester City until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to league approval.

The highly regarded youngster arrives having progressed through academy football at both West Ham United and Manchester City, winning back-to-back FA Youth Cups during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.

An England youth international, most recently representing the Under-19s, Mukasa has also gained early senior experience. He made his first-team debut for Manchester City in September 2025, starting in a 2-0 Carabao Cup win away to Huddersfield Town, before making his Premier League debut later that year.

He told Foxes Hub: “I’m really pleased to be here and grateful for the opportunity. This is a great environment for me to learn, gain experience and continue my development.

“I want to work hard every day, take on everything I can from the staff and players around me, and contribute wherever I’m able to help the team.”

Divine will now continue his development with us for the remainder of the campaign and joins a group currently preparing for a trip to Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday 7 February (3:01pm kick-off).

This is actually the one I’m most excited about. I think he’ll play higher up than most people realize and we will all be saying that he’s going to be one of the best strikers in the world one day..

Sounds like eventual team would be as below if we haven't got this young striker Richards in. We can't be wanting James and Mukasa to play triangles with Ayew so must be thinking Mukasa will play further up?

Comes highly rated but I hope it doesn't limit Page's play-time too much

He will.

Hard to say until you see him step in to the side and actually play some senior football but I sat and watched a fair few highlights of their games yesterday and, being entirely honest, he does look more developed than Page.

He runs everything for their youth team, he's excellent on the ball and looks pretty comfortable at both 10 and 9 although I doubt we'll play him as a striker.

I think he'll play 10, he's our Ramsey replacement.

I'd bet a decent amount of money that when the dust settles in a few weeks time, Mukasa will be rotating at 10 with BDCR, Richards will be warming the bench because he isn't anywhere near ready for the Championship and we've flopped again trying to find a striker and Jordan Ayew will still be starting at 9.

absolute scenes when he's still sat on the bench after five more games of BDCR behind Ayew.

Don’t see Aluko playing LB. If he plays I think he has to be on the right side

Hopefully he'll be on the pitch instead of Ayew, not with him.

We can only hope. Who ever is in charge needs to make big decisions instantly and base selections off of how the perform on the pitch not in training. No clean slate rubbish when they can just watch any game.

King needs to get some balls quickly.

I think it's more Aribo that will be taking Page's minutes away.
