Exactly. There does seem to be less outright defence of Aiyawatt I think anyway. But the narrative is now more just anti-protest, need to support the team to get through this etc.

 

I didn’t see Sheff Weds fans worrying about how the players felt when they came up late to the stands at ours. Or when they boycotted the cup game against Leeds just after. They trusted that the players and staff ‘got it’. If we don’t trust that our players will, then (as we already know), they are part of the problem. Also, protests outside the ground can still be done without taking it in the ground if that’s how they feel.

 

Speaking of the Wednesday game, I wonder when the irony will hit these people that they applauded and supported the efforts of the Wednesday fans yet attack our own fans for trying to prevent our club following the same path as them.

March, protest, chant against Top, Rudkin and King Power.

 

Hands off Vichai's statue, he started the good times, saw us through it and tragically died outside the stadium.

 

It's embarrassing enough for KP that after everything Vichai did, Top and Rudkin have led us to this situation where we're staring into the abyss, can't afford to buy players to turn things around, can't attract a manager and we're at the point where we want our greatest owners to shove off.

 

Touch Vichai's statue and there's absolutely zero sympathy for us from outside the club.

 

If anything, lay some flowers at the statue and sing the Vichai song there while holding KP OUT, TOP OUT and RUDKIN OUT signs. That'll get the message across perfectly.

Yep…

 

I think these people just go for something to do and want a nice quiet atmosphere. They are therefore upset by the toxic atmosphere that has developed but can’t see why it is because they don’t have that emotional connection to the club. As said above, if the club folded, they’d move on and find another activity to do.

I would love something like this, the comments you seem from other fans around us makes out like our fans are complicit in the clubs activities while many have recognised these issues for far too long and nothing has been done.

 

The ongoing PSR issues, BC game, the supposed K gambling sponsor that was buried last minute. Our leadership are as crooked as they come, banners like these would send a real message.

As with any fanbase, you are always going to get fans that ultimately just aren’t as intelligent to be able to see the bigger picture. “Just get behind the team” is what people say when they are so narrow minded to assume that those who attend the protest are purely toxic. Even Wednesday had some fans attending their boycott. These people are beyond help.

Because they wont recognise it as them having done anything wrong, rather they will address how the regulations stifle ambition and how they were unfailry punisbed by a PL and EFL witch hunt, and a number of fans and those in the media will lap that up. Luckily we seem to have more reporters becoming wise to our ownership now and when it happens they will turn on the heat.

The most concerning thing for me is that despite all of the businesses that he owns he couldn't pin point how things went wrong in our relegation season.
