Rowett is a one club in the bag golfer. He’s played a nice comfortable 7 iron from tee to green. And he’s wondering why he’s not got a decent return.

Played the same older  serial failures in every game, same formation, same terrible performances and yet they’re undroppable. He keeps playing Perreira, Mavadidi, Winks. Doesn’t make changes to influence a game and then makes excuses. Terrible manager with a shocking win record. .

I’d wouldn’t say we were making anything under him. A few worldies and mom performances from James, that’s it. Rowett has been shite but let not pretend Marti was good and he wasn’t the reason we are here. It’s not his fault he was given a job he should never have got.

Rowett has managed 2 teams down the bottom their records under his management are near identical, Oxford have improved in his absence I think that highlights short comings in his management skills. Something we have seen first hand. Rigid, stubborn and one dimensional.

Martis football was often dogshit but he got results, if we knew what was coming how many would’ve pulled the trigger.

You can only go on their respective records, Marti was capable of winning games and scoring 3 goals in a game.

Rowett also had the benefit of the additional players signed late in the window.

Based on their points per game and goals per match they are worlds apart.

Well before we give the late window signings as the advantage for Gaz… keep in mind they weren’t signed under him or for him, so it’s not like it was much of an advantage.

One of them was Richards, filling our favourite absent forward role. The other was Strollin’ Joe Aribo to fill the massively overpaid-underutilized position vacated by Soumare. We also brought Mukasa who has been used and Jamaal who might finally be fit two months later.

The winter window isn’t much of an advantage.

He didn’t really get results when it mattered. We lost to Oxford, Blackburn, Portsmouth, Wrexham, truly awful performances at Shef Utd and QPR. The football was symptomatic of what was coming. 100% we would have gone down under him, he had the odd win followed by 2/3 abysmal performances, that was getting more prevalent the more the club got into the ‘Cifuentes way’. He was shit, equally shit.

Rowett can't start Mavididi every game and begin a must win game with a CM of Hamza and Winks, and then try to act like the victim. He's as big a problem as the players.

It was utter dogshit under Cifuentes and it was his pre season don’t forget and his lack of running in and out of possession, no shape and no tactics that led to his sacking.

Rowett has been hugely underwhelming and I feel is just a mercenary who took the money. I can’t believe that he hasn’t tried to change us tactically into either a 442 or 352 shape and given it a go. I thought he was experienced! His excuses are cowardly and I don’t feel that he drew a line in the sand for the players to cross.

Fair play to Morrison at the Baggies in his first interim managerial gig who has gone all out attacking whilst using a 442.

Really? Cos I can't see what type of football he's coaching into us.

There's nothing going on at all with our play.  Pass it about the back and midfield until you get pressured enough to lump it long or into a channel.  If you go long we lose 90% of them as we have no height.  If it goes wide we have Mav to do nothing and Fatawu to try everything and come up well short.

It's why the entire first half was volleyball without the skimpy outfits and sand up yer crack.

I couldn't agree more..Spot On.

However..

Personally I'm beyond caring now,  no bugger at the club does.

We have debated until the cow's have come home and until 'Cvnt Top' KP and Teflon Jon depart, nothing will or can change.

IMO The only way the incompetent, arrogant, selfish, little Nepo Baby sell's is when he is financially forced into doing so.  What those circumstances are and how they are reached I haven't a clue, as my knowledge of the intricacies of football finances is ....well rubbish if I'm honest, all  this amortisation stuff etc, doesn’t interest me in the slightest  I appreciate that others with a far greater knowledge and interest in it love all the number crunching and 'Robbing Peter to pay Paul' malarkey and thats fine... just not me.

So I guess if someone could spell out what realistically could happen financially once we are relegated it might offer a time frame on my opinion.

I've finally been worn down enough to come to the conclusion  that all the name calling, KP Out, Sack the Board is water off Cvnt Top and Fudkins back's  they are too self-centered, and arrogant to care.

Only when the clubs wallet is hit enough will we get rid.

He has enough decent enough options in Monga, Page and Aluko to not play at least 3 of the shit letting us down.

Bingo !

I've said similar in other posts on other threads in reply to people's "I don't see anyone getting a tune out of this lot" quotes.

They may be 100% right  but until Rowett or whoever the manager is  grows a pair and sacks 4231 off, and swaps underperforming players ( we know who they are)  and the drops the "Toxic bad eggs" ( we all have our options and guesses on this front)  we will continue as is, suffering the same results and performances.

not a surprise that during Martin's decent results of derby twice, Ipswich and drawing to Bristol he had dropped bad eggs such as winks

Would we have stayed up with Cifuentes then ?

No I don't think we would have.

Rowett is making the same errors as Marti with 4231,  incredibly similar team selections, playing styles and all that jazz.

It's same sh1t, different face. IMO

It would be interested to hear interviews post his departure from Rowett, to find out his verdict of what was going on behind the scenes.

Most likely along lines off

"Got nothing from the players or the board... too many not interested to play for the shirt"

I think whoever is in charge needs to go further, banish the culprits from first team  training sessions, sending a message to the whole squad that disruption of this can't won't be tolerated.  Also the actual toxicity doesn't reach and affect the first team as well.

So he's relegated Brum to league one  then us and Oxford same season to league one, nearly relegated Stoke to league one  Derby were relegated to league one shortly after he left them.

Is that right?

It was a bad choice to appoint him. You get what you pay for.

Get rid and start again in League 1 with a new Manager, and hopefully a whole squad of new names.

We unfortunately can't get rid of Top, but we can hopefully have a Manager with a strong enough character, to sideline him as much as possible. He should be in hiding after this anyway.

I just want to care about the players and Manager again, not had that feeling for ages.

Not sure how you can sideline the guy who owns the club

Apart from wins against Ipswich, Derby x2 and WBA before he was sacked, in the same amount of time his replacement has one solitary win in what was being creamed over by many as the easiest run in

We were awful against WBA luckiest win ever
