tennis balls????

Absolutely no chance of this, I suggested this or whistles weeks ago but our spineless fan base won’t do anything to disrupt the game to make a point.

Carry on standing outside pre match when the Thais are nowhere to be seen. That will get the job done.

We are not a yo yo club. I can’t believe our own fans put us down. There is no way we should have ever played third tier football, let alone be on the verge of it again.

Would be interested to know your definition of a yo-yo club.Leicester have been up and down between the 1st and 2nd tier’s more than any other side. Not including the countless relegation survival campaigns and promotion near misses.Being the best example of a yo-yo club is nothing to be ashamed of imho

Numbers today were very disappointing. Our fans really need to get a grip.

Joined the protest yesterday, wasn’t around for the Norwich one so was interested to see how many joined in.Totally shocked by how few people made the effort. There seems no appetite for it.I suppose a lot of potential protesters are amongst the thousands who left their seats empty yesterday (wise decision).

I thought these protests would gradually grow momentum game after game, but just not seeing it now.

Very sad.

This was true until the 80s.

We had established ourselves in the top flight for nearly a decade after being away for a decade. That's a very long YO.

Well said, and I must point out that in my initial post I was not criticising us for being a yo yo club, it is a clear fact. Heathrow Fox is factually correct. Over the years being a city fan it has been more exciting than not, we are never boring mediocrity, we are either fighting promotion or relegation never just boooring mid table. We are not a massive club so like every other team bar money teams Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea we will all always stuggle with ups and downs.

very obvious @Fox92 is talking about going between championship and league one, given people are defending the notion of going down this season as us being a yoyo club... we've spent more seasons playing European football than league one football in our history. We do not yo-yo between those divisions

Every measure there is to look at this is not our normal.

Same amount of top flight titles, FA cups, CL appearances and 3rd tier seasons. All one, all completely one offs in the context of our history.

If you look at consecutive runs of seasons, we have had more runs in the top flight than the 2nd. We’ve had a lot more seasons in the top half of the top flight than we have in the bottom half of the second tier.

Other European appearances and League Cups. All achievements that have been more regular than even looking like we’d fall into the 3rd tier. Apart from 1991 and when we actually went down in 2008, we have never looked close to going down to the 3rd tier.

Fans trying to suggest that where we are now is the same as yo yo-ing between the top flight and second are just embarrassing themselves.

I know it’s a shame standing outside really achieves nothing unless it’s outside the players entrance after the game

Did everyone who has voiced their criticism of the ownership on here turn up to the protest yesterday? If not, why not?

Yes (not sure if you were expecting a response!) ;)

No, but my protest has been not going to any games until King Power are gone.

Not including the 1987 relegation

93/94 up

94/95 down

96/97 up

01/02 down

02/03 up

03/04 down

07/08 down

08/09 up

13/14 up

22/23 down

23/24 up

24/25 down

25/26 ????

There maybe a couple of big gaps in there  but even then we were still being entertained either by close relegation/promotion campaigns,or by actually winning stuff. The most solid prolonged mid table we have been since the 1970s was under MON.Even then we had three cup finals.

Do you live locally? I know a couple of people who took part in the protest and turned around and went home before the game.

Read Grumpy fox’s OP and tell me where they say yo yoing between tier 2 and 3 is our natural position?OK they defend KP which is a tad misguided. They are correct to say supporting Leicester is an up and down experience

.Fox92 starts their post by saying we are not a yo-yo club.Well clearly we are.

bringing up being a yoyo club in response to criticism of the position king power has taken us to cannot be reasonably read as being about going between the top division and this, because we're miles away from any sort of promotion push.

It certainly hasn't been boring supporting Leicester city football club.

My daughter was ill, otherwise would have been. Staying at home now is not a protest lads, we all need to make the effort to picket even if we don't want to go in the ground.

Empty seats alone will not save our club.

Sorry but you'll have to count me out - I attended the Norwich one and again today but the numbers are embarrassingly low which is no reflection on the organisers but on our pathetically passive fan-base. I'm done.

'passive fan-base' or maybe not representative of the fan-base?

Just don’t go. Better ways to spend your life than watch that tripe. get up to Bradgate park for a walk

players are on thousands of £s. Very hard to warm to most of them. Attitude stinks

dof - never hear a peep from him publicly. Contracts and signings are woeful/dosgusting

You don't have to go to the game to go to the protest.
