Great to see Foxes Trust representing the fans yet again by pushing to move the deadline back - nice to have a fan body that feels like it works for the fans by fans

The comments on Facebook are interesting. It shows the difficulty of communication

The most horrific headline is that the most expensive season ticket will remain £730 - I doubt you'll find anyone in League 1 charging that. The Kop will be £457 - again I don't think you'll find anyone in L1 with those prices.

People buying at those prices, are as much to blame as King power charging those prices, though.

The comments are pathetic as usual from the ‘defenders’. Why do they have such an issue with the Trust and UFS? Got to be insecurity that these groups are the ones who actually live and breathe the club.

All the expected boring comments about glory supporters from the usual suspects. Nothing to do with it being a matter of principle about pricing or treating fans as customers until they need us. There was a really good reply about it being like going to a travel agent and paying a price that won’t change not knowing if are getting Seychelles or Skegness.

You would hope that nobody is faced with the choice of either that or nothing, E.G new season ticket holders being forced to buy them or miss out. If not, then it’s down to choice and anyone paying that is a bit daft.

I’m not defending the club but I’m paying £500 for 3 games at the World Cup in the summer so comparatively speaking season tickets still offer some value.

I’ve never understood this saying

If I treated my customers like LCFC treat their fan base, I’d be out of work

Ah, you’re just talking about awful customer service though!

Football is an emotive business and fans should be considered so and not customers. Even if you provide the best customer service, customers are still there to pay your bills. It’s business even if you have positive relations. That’s the reason behind the saying.

But yes, they have compounded it by not even providing food service which outs them for what they are.

I’m convinced King Power have rounded up some people to put positive comments on their Facebook posts.

I saw one yesterday that said ‘will be renewing, true fans support regardless of division’  another ‘through good times and the bad, sign me up’

Same lot clapping a 1-3 defeat by QPR, sponsored by North Korea

TBH that’s just another s***e overhyped money grabbing competition now. Even England could get to the semifinals under Southgate because the competition in the groups was so poor! All money, fur coat and no knickers!

Anyone with critical thinking skills knows that it isn’t the division we’ll be in that’s stopping people renewing. But yeah, something else the disciples can use against people who actually care about the long term future of the club. I can’t be arsed with it anymore.

I don't think they need to round up anyone.  Anybody's that seen us lose, showing no passion, no fight...and then applaud the players off whilst taking pictures knows the majority of our fans have that view.  TBH I think its a view thats prevelant thoughout english football fans.  These fans only show anger at their fellow fans who criticise the club.  Relegation...who cares?....high ticket prices...who cares?.....fans treated like the enemy....who cares?.....as long as I can sit in my seat and watch the lads every week.

This behaviour was here before KP took over, I remember lots of apathy and polite applause when we were relegated to league 1.

I've seen many times people post 'state of the FB comments' etc, but never bothered to look.

But the FT post came up on my feed last night to I took a peak..

Jeez, I think the combined IQ would be less than the cost of a ST

It's a lot of the same names that were all over UFS on there before they stopped posting on Facebook so much, all seemed to have migrated onto the Foxes Trust's posts now.

The amount of shit you can swallow as a fan and not grumble is the measure of how "good" a fan you are according to a huge majority. It's an extension of British society as a whole I think.

I was having a discussion with one of them. They absolutely refused to answer the question if they were happy with the way the club is being ran. petrified of criticising king power. Just back the lads and if you don't like it support someone else. That's the usual response.

A good kryptonite is asking what they think of Patson Daka or Jordan Ayew. A good gotcha from their response.

Mildly off-topic, but as part of my fundraising efforts for the London Marathon I put on a quiz and raffle and contacted a few celebrities who I knew were supporters of the charity to ask if they would be kind enough to offer prizes. I expected nothing, but received some wonderful donations - and a cash donation of £19.93 from Swindon Town supporting comedian Ivo Graham under the reference 'Glenn Hoddle' - which amused me.

Anyway, I also contacted the club to ask if they could donate anything at all; given that I have been a season ticket holder since the late 90s I thought this would be a reasonable request. I have however received a response - circa 4 weeks after the event and 3 months since my first contact - to say that it's a no.

On the flipside, Coventry City (I live near Leamington, so the prize made sense - even if it killed me inside) gave me a voucher for two tickets to any category B or lower match and were really responsive and supportive about everything.

As I say, I didn't expect anything - but you'd think over a quarter of a century of support and dedication may warrant some sort of gesture of goodwill. Alas, no.
