Popular Post 21st Century Fox Posted 15 April Popular Post Posted 15 April Quote Iraola is leaving at the end of the campaign after confirming that he does not wish to extend his contract. Bournemouth hoped to convince the Spaniard to stay, but have been planning for his exit. Just read this about Bournemouth and I'm confused? When a manager leaves, there's an obligatory month where you do nothing and then panic and scrabble around for whoever is waiting in the nearest alleyway and has a pulse. That's how I'm led to believe the process works, right? 1 12

Might of helped clear a few out had he got the job I dunno i'd sit on 75k a week then **** off to turkey either way
Pita Posted 15 April Posted 15 April With any luck he will start before preseason starts. But with Rudkin we will be very lucky if he starts before the season starts
TonyN11 Posted 15 April Posted 15 April Let's get a manager in on a good salary, with potential bonuses. Then make sure none of our players get more dosh than the manager. Silly idea, I know

fazzyfox Posted 15 April Posted 15 April Not saying it's my particular choice but Callum Davidson has been a manager in his own right, he's had a spell seeing the facilities up close, which as a coach (injury curse jokes aside) must be a desirable privilege and he's now known to the decision makers, I think he'll fancy it, a bit of a different dynamic to the Bassett / Adams interim which then became Adams managing as intended but I have a funny feeling it could be him. Rowett will wear the tarnish of the relegation, results and "style" of his reign, Davidson may escape that. Won cups in Scotland . 1
Chelmofox Posted 15 April Posted 15 April In Leicestershire live, there was an article thinking this would be the lineup if we don’t sign players Gk Stolarczyk DEF Jayden Joseph Aluko Kevon Gray Luke Thomas MID Braybrooke Skipp Page FOR Jake Evans Alves Hutchinson Crazy to think most are from the academy (apart from Skipp)

The only one that's bothered to run. 1

fazzyfox Posted 15 April Posted 15 April Will that new Member of our super duper restructure be involved in making the selection? If not it’s the same people who chose the last ones unless Whelan was particularly involved too? That fills me with so much confidence! Ideally you would bloody some other clubs nose by tempting their successful manager but a) apart from Seagrave we’re not all that appealing with an uncertain future and budget, b) we probably can’t afford to pay compensation. I’d like to see it be Robins or Carsley and it will be strange if it is someone who is a popular choice with the fans who gets it, a manager needing positivity and starting on a clean slate but with a board and several of the squad deserving no forgiveness, that’s a perplexing dynamic and a further reason why this nightmare is just beginning.
lfu Posted 16 April Posted 16 April One other thing to mention about Fuchs - he played there under Christian Lattanzio, who worked in Man City's youth setup for a few years, then assistant manager to Patrick Vieira at New York City and Nice, so there's a (tenuous) link to McCarron and the Just Play Like Pep directive coming from Aiyawatt.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 16 April Posted 16 April I would happily take Carlos Carvalhal, if he would come. 1

Stavros81 Posted 17 April Posted 17 April (edited) I’d actually like Steven Gerrard but doubt he’d leave TNT and working for Dogshit Power Edited 17 April by Stavros81 Grammar
Number 6 Posted 18 April Posted 18 April Get Hodgson in and let King learn from him for 12 months. A season of stopping the slide and playing youth.

Cincinnati Fox Posted 18 April Posted 18 April I’d like Craig Bellamy purely because he would call it as it is. but not a chance JR would allow that.
