Ashamed? No… just massively disappointed. From starting my journey at 1-0 win against Oxford in 1989, I can honestly say I have loved this club until very recently. It is now my marmite… love and hate at the same time

I was born in Chorley, Dad from Blackpool, Mam from Leicester, didnt move back to Leicester until 1970, supported City since I was 7 and understood footie, 1st game vs bury in fa cup 1976, married a geordie in 1989 and have lived in north east ever since. follow everything leicester,  tigers riders lions cricket et al. Loved the fact we were an up and down club with bright moments that were few and far between. Couldn't believe when the great escape was followed by that win, was roundly congratulated by all my Geordie & Mackem mates. I'm also not ashamed, I'm ****ing angry at the ineptitude and general lassez faire attitude of the peeps in charge. How can you go from being the best run club in the UK to the 2nd worst (Sheff Wed fans I feel your pain). However, for an establishment that lets Bury, Macclesfield etc go under but then doles points deductions out to any club that dare to spend money to try to compete with the "Top Six"  can go fook itself. We were relegated twice in the FFP period. What advantage did we gain? I will support LTID but Bromley away? Really......

Strangely I also follow Leicestershire County Cricket, and the Tigers. I've no connection with Leicester. It started for me with a school project, when I wasn't allowed to write about Leeds, and picked the next club alphabetically. I also didn't like the Leeds hype with Revie at the time, saw where Leicester were in the league, (near the bottom) and thought this lot need supporting. The rest is history. I've actually experienced more success in that time than my brother the Leeds fan.

I'm hurting right now though, and wasn't worried we could fold, but the more I read on here.......😬

I’ve got nothing left for Leicester I hate to admit it. Living closer to Lincoln these days I find myself checking their scores before ours.  Leicester is just an empty soul of a club these days.  There is nothing left to like.

They haven’t had a penny off me now for a good couple of years and I don’t think they will get another penny off me full stop.

I can take the ups and downs of relegations like the best of them. But this just feels like the club has been completely torn apart and no one cares about it apart from people who can’t do anything about it.

in supporting Leicester for the best part of 35 years, I’ve never, ever known myself to not care, whether we win lose or draw.

I'm a Fox and an Imp too! From Lincolnshire,  but my Dad's family are Leicester born and bred, thus my main affinity is with them. As a Yellow Belly, I can't not follow the county's city team. I did spend five years of my childhood in Leicestershire too. Both teams have my heart ❤️

I’ll be honest.

I don’t feel anything anymore.

Which in some ways, is maybe worse.

I just don’t care enough anymore to bother.

It was 60 minutes today before I even bothered watching the game. I’ve gone from being a season ticket holder through that dire state under the likes of Levein etc, the last League 1 relegation to not caring at all.

Well done King Power, excellent job.

I guess you can now sell stuff to all these customers that won’t be coming to watch us play Barrow.

All those years without third tier football. So sad. 2008 was a disgrace, 2026 is a disgrace. Back to back relegations, unbelievable.

I feel embarrassed not ashamed.

Always worn my shirt around my town with pride.

Struggling now.

Cant cope with the banter from the Leeds United fans

Sorry, I accept that we are utter trash, the leadership have let us down, players have let us down, we are at a stupidly low ebb. But the whole point of supporting a football that isn't man utd or Liverpool is that it isn't easy. We've had amazing times. We should be angry at how we've fallen. But ashamed of our club because we've become rubbish? No. Sorry but no. That's the language of glory supporters.

Ill never be ashamed of this club. I am ashamed of those in control and most of the playing staff.

These ****ers arent the club

People who are that willing to drop support for the club are welcome to go down the road to watch Cov for a season before we’re both back in the same league.

Some heads need wobbling.

Don't equate a purposeful boycott with being a turncoat. Talk of "watch Cov" is weirdly silly

Well done on being a football supporter in MH though!

Is it really much different? People dropping their support because of third tier football clearly weren’t that attached to the club to begin with…they were attached to success.

And yes, our whole family in MH are football fans!

It's different. Some people think the most meaningful protest is to withdraw cash from KP's operation. I agree. It's not an easy option for many. I'd say this *emphasises* their commitment to our club: it shows a willingness to out the greater good over their own gratification

Maybe the odd person has a problem with L1, just because. They're fools. We had great times in L1 under Nige because we had a culture to believe in

I think that’s a cop out to be quite honest, and I say this as someone who has protested against KP more than once.

I dont even care enough to be ashamed.

Its just a total disconnect.

If it wasn't for browsing this forum, I wouldnt even know our remaining fixtures.

I'm not ashamed I'm fuming.

I am more angry at the point top really has let us down and to mention his father's legacy.

Disgusting!

Because anyone who has simply lost interest in the club due to its league status can say they are in fact doing it because they care more about that club than those who will keep going.

There will be a mostly new set of players next season, lower earners with more of a sense of professional pride. The club will regroup and bounce back.

So what if they have told you it has nothing at all to do with the league we're in, you view that as a cop out. Right...
