Imagine if Rowett brings back Ayew and keeps Hamza and Winks as DMs and Ricci as right back. With Asmir we will have the oldest, slowest and most decrepid team in the league.

Well that's effed it all up hasn't it. Forget relegation, forget protests, forget accountability.

The next 24 hours will be one person saying something out of earshot at the owner laying flowers, misinterpreted and spread everywhere by football banter accounts.

Winks and Mavididi still on the bench
Only youth player in the squad is Monga

Rowett is a fuching coward

Tbh, we’re gone and I’d prefer the kids aren’t sullied by being there this evening with the toxicity

Geoff is so old skool - ‘division 3’

He had plenty to say when Claude was manager.

Been strangely quiet these last few seasons.

you may be right. Perhaps it’s the sacrificial offering saying you’ve lost many of these games all season: you can take the rap tonight if it’s yet another.

Basically the atmosphere tonight needs to be the complete opposite of Preston away 2 years back, instead of a 3 hour party just make it as toxic as possible, booing, chanting the lot.

Only songs to be sung should be about our heros of the past, not one positive chanting should be aimed at any of the cutting mob.

Instead of the old ‘you’re f***ing s***’ that people usually sing to the opposition, 20 minutes of ‘you’re f***ing c***s’ could catch on.

I want Wicks on the bench. I want him sat at pitch side to see and hear what we think of him. I don’t want him sat cosily in the stands having a drink and hoping nobody notices him. I want to see him getting full pelters at full time then he can get changed and drive his sulking little way back down the M1. Make him wear the shirt he has so little respect for and face the fans he despises.
I never want to see him playing for us again.

Hope he gets told to go for a warm up run over and over again all game (there will still be a ripple of applause from the flask brigade)

Just so happens he’s done it now though knowing full well there’s 100’s of fans around already.

I lost my both of my parents in a space of 10mths, both died at the LRI, which is one of my place of work. I still find it incredibly hard, even now to work at the LRI and sometime and I like to have a reflective moment from time to time. Sometimes these personal moment are just what they are, personal moment for me and I guess for Top🙏🏽

Fully understand and I too have sentimental places.

However to do it pre game, when there were several hundred already around the ground, slow moving traffic etc…it was definitely calculated.

There was security walking with him, too.

imo its a performative decision and he's done it in hopes that it'll pacify the mob of fans he knows he's upset - undoubtedly its emotional for him with the death of his dad but his decision to do it when he knows there will be cameras and people about to see

I can see why people might see this as being staged, but maybe it could be geninue, not sure if he’s done this in the past.
