Shame it's taken a marketing effort by Netflix to get this man's big handsome mug in a prominent place in our city. 

 

Maybe the club should take note.

Hope it's not the same guy who sculpted the Cristiano Ronaldo one.

 

But yeah this is good considering the club make no effort to celebrate it's legends

Often thought that this city does not have enough Vardy about. He should be to us what Maradona is to Naples

I'd be happy if the club maybe acknowledged some legends around the actual football stadium TBH.

 

And I don't mean getting them on the official club podcast to talk absolute guff and ingore the enormous elephant in the room.

Soulsby promised the Kate Street Champion's mural would be recreated on a prominent route into the city.

Guessing it will be this place. 

I haven't been down Belgrave Gate for a few years (worked in the bookies on there for years. Was soooo happy when I found out it was condemned after that beauty shop caught fire). What is there right now?

There is the one on the other side of that car park too, but thats more across the road from the theatre in my head. 

 

 

 

I do need to ask though, is McIndians still there? That shit was a fantastic payday treat.

As much as a new Vardy mural is great, I hope they haven't got rid of that one. It's one of the nicer ones in town and actually relevant to the area. Shame they couldn't find a more prominent space for the Jamie one, but nice to see something being done.
