If it truly was a "hydration break" (and not a "Quarter Time" to allow ad breaks), they should allow the players to pick up a bottle at the side of the pitch and retreat to the centre circle, with the coaching staff should not be allowed to gather them around and coach them.

 

These breaks ruin the momentum of the games.

Yeah, this is what I’ve said, or have the fourth official bring on the bottles in a crate or even get some random drive them on in a golf buggy. Better still not have them Unless the temperature is extreme.
