Can't believe players still stay down when they are defending when they clearly aren't hurt. I'd be fuming if a goal was conceded whilst someone is laying on the ground rather than defending.

Along with splitting the game into quarters, yep.

 

There is no way that PL isn’t rubbing their hands together seeing that only Fox in the US made $250m just from hydration break ads alone. That is just 100s of millions they can add to the price of the PL tv rights here most likely; and as a result Sky and TNT probably put their prices up even further despite having extra ad revenue on top of a worsening product.

A significant amount of Europe’s top league clubs, including the prem, are now owned by private equity. There isn’t much more they can squeeze out of subscription models, so extra ad spaces seem the logical way to go to increase the value of TV rights deals.

De Bruyne to me is like Federer to Bruno Fernandes' Djokovic.   All sportsmen played in same era and are of similar skill but Federer and De Bruyne just ooze class compared to tenacity and unlikeability of Bruno and Djokovic.
