Really?

Under 9/10s coach, a few years later, academy head coach, academy director, fecking head of transfers, virtually gaffer!

I'm too tired now, but If you want me to punctuate that tomorrow with years and dates, I will. He precedes Tim Davies's time mate. He's seen all sorts.

Who was the other guy that two'd up with pearsons lad in Thailand?

Rudkin actually joined the club in the 1980s as a youth coach. He therefore predates Mandaric by at least 20 years.

Pre-King Power, his sphere of influence remained extremely limited, but his incessant toadying to Vichai and Aiyawatt enabled him to move swiftly onwards and upwards.

He doesn't speak to the media (unless it's off the record) because he doesn't wish to draw wider public attention to his existence.

And as City's slide towards the National League continues, he's not likely to change that habit any time soon..

I didn't mean he started when Mandaric joined; I was limiting the history because most on here weren't born.

Humiliating performance. It’s the managers insistence to play this way at all costs. And Tops insistence to continue to hire managers to play it.

We’re too easy to setup against.

Imagine we realise, swallow our pride and go for a no nonsense manager who knows how to get us out this division. We won’t and its this poisonous ownership that need to ripped out of this club ASAP I hold no faith anything will get better.

My father-in-law supports Southampton, so I watched plenty of them under Martin. He has one idea and absolutely nothing beyond it. No flexibility, no tactical nous, just suicideball regardless of the game. His better results often seemed to come when the players ignored him and went rogue.

He’s the worst manager I’ve ever watched at this level.

Giving every manager since had clear red flags, and no one was excited about any of the appointments says it all

Didn't think I could feel some nostalgia for Gary Rowett.

Worrying listening to him. Usual bollocks as you'd expect but he's so arrogant about what happened today and it sounds like he's going to bin off several of the younger players. You know, the ones that have actually put in some performances this year

I genuinely think he's one of the worst managers there has ever been who has somehow got to this level.

i'm assuming that using a constant stream of meaningless buzzwords and nonsensical jargon must work a charm on club owners who have no idea what they're doing.

Could sort of get it if you were a genuine L1/L2 club hoping that you get lucky with a young manager. But for a club of our size to have ever had an interest, is absolutely mental

He will double down on the Luke Thomas walking football, controlling the tempo of the game and starting the attacks.

You listen to him he doesn’t give a toss! Rangers fans laughed their heads off when we appointed him and now are feeling sorry for us.

Football’s greatest unsolved mystery is how Russell keeps persuading anyone to appoint him.

The fraud has turned sounding like he understands football into a career far more successful than actually managing a football team.

Interesting excuse about being tired after three games in three days....

Someone has told him that happens quite a lot in League One right?
