I’ve decided this season I’m not going to watch one single minute of manager interviews.  Interviews are bullshit and prove nothing.  If we’ve learned anything in the past 5 years is that’s it’s all bluster.  All I’m interested in is what happens on the pitch.

There's too many interviews now, that's why managers (and players) end up saying the same thing. Must be so boring having to explain absolutely everything.

But I don't know why people go so deep into it. Why people listen to them all.  I'm even more surprised when I see people posting "unfollowing the club on social media because of what they put out". I'm surprised people even waste their time with interviews and/or the club on social media. I don't think I take notice of 80% of what goes on, because most of it is just the same rubbish over and over again.

Is he getting any leeway from anyone if he uses the youth ? So if alves , page, Nelson , aluko all start majority of games and we are around the play offs but inconsistent does Martin get the fans on even slightly on board ?

@Ric Flair?

Obligation is promotion and using youth.

Russell Martin is very likely to get us out of this division - by getting us relegated. He seems like the David Brent of football.

My prediction is, he’ll be sacked within 15 games, and we’ll get some other jobber to sniff his own farts. Really not impressed.

If there is anything stopping you watching us this season surely it’s the on field performances during the last 5 years and not the responses to loaded questions by KP and club gimps!

They'll leave it too late to sack him as usual and we'll end up with Hourihane until the end of the season.

Out of interest I wanted to see where Russell Martins win % puts him in League One.

17th out of 22 managers, there's a couple who haven't managed a game yet so I didn't include them.

This is what I never get about "the best Leicester could have done" or the "we're in League One" brigade, his record is atrocious, even compared to other League One managers.

If you're interested, Hendrick Pedersens is the lowest, with 27.6% but 2 wins in 50 at Wednesday will do that.

So much negativity on here.

Believe me, he has done more behind the scenes that the last 3 managers put together.

Didnt want him because of his style of play, but from what i heard behind the scenes and the northampton game, he definitely needs to be given time.

VK, Winks and Vesty all potentially gone within 3 weeks.

Still doesn't make him a good football manager.

Managers have had practically zero input in the incomings and outgoings at Leicester since the Brendan.

Yes, because Rudkin never would have signed 2 ex-Southampton players and an ex-Southampton Manager?

Who would you have appointed then Patrick?

Any of the 16 managers with a better win % than him in League One would have been an option.

I'm no Martinista but looking at win % alone completely strips away any context of the jobs he's had.

Been told the same, let’s just say it isn’t the Spa we all used to accuse Seagrave of being.

Can you go into more detail as to what the changes are or what he’s implementing. Like many he wouldn’t have been my choice but if he’s making changes to the attitude and culture of the club that’s a big plus.

He’s here and we need to hope he does well for the sake of the club.

I mean other than the Premier League season where he won 1 in 16, he's never managed an unfancied team has he?

Anyway, it doesn't matter, me moaning isn't going to change anything!

right, but a bloke who's been in the PL with a newly promoted time is likely to have a much lower win %age than a bloke who's had one or two years managing a league two playoff side. Those are two wildly different jobs, and you can't just compare them by win %age

Fine, I'll just do Swansea and MK Dons.

Russell Martin is 18th out of 22. Happy now?
