We need experienced players to rotate with these young lads also.

 

Plenty of football to be played this season, one thing we’ve lacked over the past few seasons is depth.

I think Page is going to be more of an 8 than a 10 for us anyway

 

If he isn't starting then he will definitely be on the bench

 

Page cannot play every single minute of every single game - he will get plenty of football over the coming season, way more than a lot of 18 year olds usually get in League One

I still think we have a few to leave.

 

I think he's impressed more than enough to get plenty of minutes.

 

We havea minimum of 51 games league and 3 Cup comps, which we are like to get few a few rounds, I can see us playing 55ish games.

Just been to have a look on Swans fans forum.

 

They are largely positive about Cullen. He's one of they're own.

 

Their take on it is 'he'd fit well into RMs two tens system', but he can also play anywhere across the front three as well. They seem to describe RMs system as 4-1-2-3

 

I never really thought of it like that. I guess that would just leave us one Hamza, Skipp, Braybrooke, sitting, with the two tens being 2 out of BDCR, Alves, Chaplin, Page(!) and Cullen

It’s a 4-3-3 with a single pivot and two attacking midfielders having the ability to attack and start the press higher up the pitch.

 

The exact same principle to Enzo’s midfield 3. These different system names make me laugh, 4-1-2-3, 4-1-4-1 or just simply 4-3-3 lol

Evening Foxes. A Swansea perspective.

Firstly, Russy absolutely adores Cullen. Worships the ground he walks on. We had Morgan Whittaker at the club at the same time at one point and Martin unfailingly selected LC. One way or another, you're probably going to see a lot of him whilst Martin is in charge.

The bad? (And bear in mind that this is based on watching him in The Championship) He's got no pace. Can't beat a man. His physical presence is basically zero. He can go whole periods, whole games, whole months whilst being almost totally anonymous on the pitch. I'd compare it to playing with ten men, but at least with ten men you know you're a man down and can prepare for it. Harder when you're supposed to have eleven.

But, and it's a big but...

I can't deny that the lad has a knack for scoring important goals. Even during the anonymous periods that I mentioned above you could never rule out him appearing out of nowhere on the end of a move, to smack home a rebound, or boot one in from further out that put us in front or nicked a draw. It's one of the main reasons why a lot of our supporters never lost faith in him despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary, and why I can honestly say that I wouldn't be surprised if he gets you 15+ goals this season in L1. I wouldn't expect it to happen, but it might.

Page is an 8. 
 

He could work as a 6 or a 10, but his best position is obviously 8.
