Tielemans63 Posted 28 July Posted 28 July Seen him a few times. Bit of a nothing player. He'll fit right in 1

We’ve signed a lad who’s one of these front line pressers when it’s crying out for a bagsman But you've just said this would halt the progress of the youngsters. Big red flag. Popular Post jv1 Posted 28 July Popular Post Posted 28 July We need some good solid pros around the place the help the young lads out and bring them on- seems like another good character like Chaplin and McCarthy - don’t think we can underestimate how much good solid pros who set the tone are needed - these 3 and I’m sure a few more won’t be like the utter scum we have brought in over last few years I like this one - he is still young enough and will be a great addition and just the kind of player we need in league one 7 1

Braybrooke kicking his heels on the bench, just looking for us to bring in a journeyman Championship RB and RW to kick Alves and Aluko out of the team. Russ please don't be another Marti....... 46 game season and the cups, Braybrooke, Page, Alves and Aluko will play plenty regardless of this signing 1

Chaplin and him, feel a like a rinse and repeat of BCDR and Ayew. A CAM who on the decline and a sort of CF with no pace or physicality. Edited 28 July by coolhandfox 1
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 28 July Popular Post Posted 28 July Just when we get rid of Ayew and already have Bobby Reid, we go for a non entity signing like this. Appalling. 7

It won't be Page or Braybrooke even if he used as a 10, and Alves can play left wing And he is a striker - he dropped back to being a 10 after they signed Vipotnik (one of the best strikers in the league), the vast majority of his career and previously under Russell he was a striker Edited 28 July by moore_94

Literally called him Okazaki. 1

Appalling. He is 27 - nothing at all like either - nonsense post coming from the championship as well - will be on peanuts compared to those 2 rats you mention above can play in multiple positions and puts and absolute shift in by all accounts lazy comparison Edited 28 July by jv1 7

Who do you think we can we get who would genuinely want to sign for us We’ve got a full scouting team with the ability to identify players. Lincoln last season found a Ukrainian kid playing in Czech Republic and he was part of a title winning team.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 July Posted 28 July My uncle is Lincoln fan, says he did absolutely nothing there when they were in League 1

Is that during his whole time with them or just in the last 2 seasons since they signed Vipotnik? Because it looks like he certainly played plenty previously as the main / lone striker

If he does end up playing midfield you can't have Chaplin, Cullen, Braybrooke and Page all in the same team. 1 or 2 will have to sit on the bench as a best case scenario. Either way even if he was not blocking someone, the description from the Swansea fan is there: non entity as a player. Edited 28 July by honeybradger 1

I’m hoping it’s more of a variety of depth signing, think we are done signing for the 8/10 role now, we have a lot of different players for the role now
LCFCJohn Posted 28 July Posted 28 July Feels like the last position we need to recruit to….typical of us. Nothing against the player even. But why aren’t the resources going on a striker/wide wide player. If there is resources! 1
