So basically thank for the sponsors who were in long term commitments from ditching us cos we're not in a position to attract any more high quality branding opportunities. We'll be focussing on local opportunities cos that's the only ones who'll put money into the club?

How's it taken this long to get a statement out like that lol

Linda G has the final sign off of the copy.

Took longer than was hoped, as she had to finish off the fully costed club sale prospectus first.

Busy life.

"Listen, I'll level with you, we ****ed up big time. Anyone we haven't tied down contractually is leaving us like rats from a sinking ship.  We've had to make up a gambling company to sponsor us, do you know how much work that takes. I've had to deal with some very unsavoury people in Curaçao. Please...please for the love of god, if you run a local carpet fitting company, crime scene cleaners, tampon disposal company, anything, seriously anything, please throw us a few shekels".

At least we're not anti-Semitic.

Yeah no shit

No it's real.

His top half floats around the stadium, usually loitering near an image of our badge, whilst his bottom half is taking a dump where the turnstiles used to be on Burnmoor Street.

Also, I know Russell Jones, and he looks nothing like that!

Ok, so I know A Russell Jones, but it's still a fact that he looks nothing like that!

He looks like someone who failed to sell canned farts on Dragon's Den

It’s just his LinkedIn. It’s a call out for anyone looking to partner. Not really sure why it needed sharing, it’s not a club communication.

LinkedIn is like Chester Zoo, but instead of Red Pandas you get to watch bellends in suits with no off button. It's quite fun to browse as a hate-scroll, but also a very quick way to lose faith in humanity when you realise that yes, these are real people and this is the level of lame you have to be to "get ahead" in this day and age.

The harsh reality is now the club is languishing in league one, the commercial revenues will drop massively as much like the influencers, tourist fans and day trippers , commercial partners with little or no emotional attachment to Leicester will be off to other more exciting and sexy clubs.

So the club then pull on the heartstrings of the fans yet again in the hope supporters who own local businesses start snapping up partnership and hospitality packages they have been previously frozen or priced out of ……until we are back in the championship or premier league and they will be dropped, to be replaced by the companies who fecked off when the going got tough.

What would be great is if the club had a real change of heart and strategy and rather than chasing or creating sponsorship deals with obscure far east betting / crypto companies we actually look to create high value partnerships with successful large scale businesses with some affiliation to the city or county whilst also offering opportunities for local start ups, SME’s and businesses to be involved.

is there even an LCFC business club/network would be a great way to interact with local businesses, offering  regular networking events at the club, which benefit local business and the economy whilst offering the potential to generate additional income and access to new sponsors/hospitality partners for the club.
