No real conspiracy here - was signed as a 3rd choice, has seen that relegation hasn’t changed his standing in the squad and probably wants to go back to Spain.

Only had a year left, with a mutual agreement you'd think we'd have saved some money on his wages for the year and was unlikely to get a fee for him.

In those nine games he played for us in the Prem when Kasper was injured, he made 18 saves and conceded 16 goals. Awful ratio, when you think about it.

He was one of the reasons we got off to such a horrific start to that 2016-17 season.
