FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 McAuley is from Northern Ireland You also missed Conrad Logan (Republic of Ireland)
josh Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Never really heard of him, can anyone provide stats of his careers / reports etc... ? stats Doesn't look too promising, although he does have 12 caps for Ireland
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 WHY DON'T WE TRY AND TEMPT ZIDANE OUT OF RETIREMENT THEN? THE SOONER PEOPLE REALISE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE ARE REALISTIC TARGETS THE BETTER!
The People's Hero Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Lee Morris's uncle has had seven hernia operations after his sides split. He hopes to play again soon though, honest. Now can he have a new contract?
holly Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 WHY DON'T WE TRY AND TEMPT ZIDANE OUT OF RETIREMENT THEN? THE SOONER PEOPLE REALISE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE ARE REALISTIC TARGETS THE BETTER! was only posting something i found, its not like i said we were gettin him
filbertway Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 was only posting something i found, its not like i said we were gettin him I think he was talking to people that want better players than him
breadandcheese Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Always thought Healy a half decent player. Not sure why his career wained away a bit, but I'd take a gamble on a free transfer. A steely centre mid to add protection to the back-four. Just what we need.
holly Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 I think he was talking to people that want better players than him oh right, my bad!

We deffo need a ball winner in their If he can be the ball winner then that would give williams / weso licence to go forward and attack.
Benji Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 WHY DON'T WE TRY AND TEMPT ZIDANE OUT OF RETIREMENT THEN? THE SOONER PEOPLE REALISE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE ARE REALISTIC TARGETS THE BETTER! a good point not well made
Sods Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 We should have given him a pay as you play contract. Or pay as you train. He was with us for ages just taken our great facilities and hes a derby reject
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Your signature is far too small, I can barely make out who it is.
josh Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 WHY DON'T WE TRY AND TEMPT ZIDANE OUT OF RETIREMENT THEN? THE SOONER PEOPLE REALISE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE ARE REALISTIC TARGETS THE BETTER! I never said it was an unrealistic target, suits the profile quite well (ie free!), just commenting on his stats. Doesn't look like he's played a whole season in the first team at one club, although he clearly does have ability if he's played for Ireland 12 times. Sorry if offended you, but there was no need to shout! If he's a ballwinner like breadandcheese says, deffinately worth a go.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Wasn't shouting just had my caps lock stuck on! Agree his stats don't look all that although can remember him playing on sky for celtic a few times and being quite impressed. A few years ago now mind!
The People's Hero Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 Yadda yadda yadda.. what a bunch of fu cking wan kers!
Ultra Posted 21 June 2006 Posted 21 June 2006 That side is well known for its very dodgy rumours. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be one of them.
Ric Flair Posted 22 June 2006 Posted 22 June 2006 If Colin Healy wasn't injury prone to **** then we wouldn't be in a position to sign him. He was very hightly thought of at Celtic and had a decent loan spell at Coventry according to my mate but since he moved to Sunderland on good money he has had horrific injuries, such as a couple of double leg breaks if memory serves me right. As breadandcheese said, talent and position wise he would be ideal. But if he's crippled then i'd steer clear. According to that article from his agent he's proved his fitness up at Livingstone, so if that's true then forklift him in.
The Stig Posted 22 June 2006 Author Posted 22 June 2006 http://www.leicestercity-mad.co.uk/news/lo...=TMNW&id=285438 Would people welcome him
