renards Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 what times the moan in on? Couple of mins past 6
lildave3 Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 I'm betting it's that he's starting training for another run. Hasn't he already told us that in the programme?
Louise Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 You heard it from me first ETA: Or possibly in the programme.....
Guest Gist Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 I'm betting it's that he's starting training for another run. Yep!
lildave3 Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 !!!!! Did you honestly expect it to be announced? I didn't.
Craig Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Did you honestly expect it to be announced? I didn't. No, i expected something better than that run though!
Steven Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 I'm betting it's that he's starting training for another run.
luffbra Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Weren't they managers though? Perhaps I'm being pedantic... Although - I might listen to the phone in for the first time EVER tonight! You don't think Birch might be announcing the fact that this year might see his last EVER Charity Run? OMG ... I (and Louise) have the gift of prophecy
Leicfox Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Birch is a disgrace, getting everyone's hopes up and then announcing he's in training for a run.
Louise Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 It wasn't Birch though was it? It was the BBC RL presenter, Birch didn't even know that it'd been mentioned before the program.
Leicfox Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Ah i was'nt listening. Sorry to the Birch then.
morris1234 Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 sorry but i cant help fell veeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry happy that the mandaric takeover is finally going through, i dont really know why im excited? i know we wont get to the premiership first season with him in (next season) but i feel we can do very well and improve every season and i look forward to seeing some good football and football players comin to the walkers i suppose!!!!!!!!! :fox: ill just shut up now
Chrysalis Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 They can't be on there own. Of course they can, example. MM has 89% of shares with the rest of shareholders saying no and leaving FT on the fence, which way would they go?
Thracian Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Of course they can, example. MM has 89% of shares with the rest of shareholders saying no and leaving FT on the fence, which way would they go? Perhaps they'd accept, for a seat on any advisory board and on condition Birch was dumped and Anderson told he couldn't wear his Hearts hat except in the loos.
Craig Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Of course they can, example. MM has 89% of shares with the rest of shareholders saying no and leaving FT on the fence, which way would they go? They'd say no, cos they represent the fans, and none of us fans want it to go through, innit.
davieG Posted 15 January 2007 Author Posted 15 January 2007 Of course they can, example. MM has 89% of shares with the rest of shareholders saying no and leaving FT on the fence, which way would they go? Whichever way their members vote, it's called democracy. If you want to affect the vote join the FT.
Asha Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Yeah but these foxes trust people say they have the club's best interest's at heart? MM is the club's best interest and our only way long term of avoiding liquidation
Mort Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Hmmm... a war between the FT and the Merc (with the willing support of RL by the sound of it), I wonder who'll win that one
davieG Posted 15 January 2007 Author Posted 15 January 2007 Yeah but these foxes trust people say they have the club's best interest's at heart?MM is the club's best interest and our only way long term of avoiding liquidation Well until they know what he's actually offering they wont know that will they. If someone offered to buy something off you would you agree to it without knowing what they are offering - thought not.
Mort Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 If someone offered to buy something off you would you agree to it without knowing what they are offering... That all depends on what it was they wanted to buy.
Daggers Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 S'all irrelevant considering the vow of silence they are sworn to...they ain't answering any hypothetical question. Or are they?
Foxes_Trust Posted 15 January 2007 Posted 15 January 2007 Of course they can, example. MM has 89% of shares with the rest of shareholders saying no and leaving FT on the fence, which way would they go? In reality we wouldn't know that was the situation prior to making our decision. We await the answers to 3 questions, if those answers are contained in the final bid document & we are happy with the answers then we would back it, but we need all 3 answers.
