lookwhaticando Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 17 pages is too many to read, but has anyone suggested Matt Piper yet?
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 Hmmm, I wonder whether he'd be allowed to leave. They are doing shit and he's only played a handful of games for them. Is he injured again? That's his only downfall, he's a bit injury prone. Thinking about it January might be a bit soon. Prehaps in the summer when they've gone down, Knopper will surely want out even if he is Den Hagen through and through, along with Mols who De Vries could replace . He's had a few knocks I reckon but I don't think he's been seriously injured. Obviously I'm no expert on ADO Den Hagen though
Louise Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 17 pages is too many to read, but has anyone suggested Matt Piper yet? To spend millions on some new legs?
Barry Trotter Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 A bit of power in the forwards would be nice, I have seen bigger 5 year olds than Hume and Fryatt. e.g. Heskey with a better aim and less of the falling over.

gatesheadfox Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 e.g. Heskey with a better aim and less of the falling over. seeing as heskey would be out of our range i don't think we'd be signing anyone better than him

Fox in a Box Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 To spend millions on some new legs? just the legs?
potter3 Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 It would be frightening to see how many goals he could score at this level. His goal scoring record for a midfielder is highly impressive. Got great experience and still plenty of years ahead of him. Is he actually on a permanent deal there or just on loan from Vittesse? He's not got too many years left, hes almost 30
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 Britney Spears - heard she's looking to be released. Isambard Kingdom Brunel - would really build bridges between the fans and the management. John Anderson - you remember, the ref from Gladiators? Also used to be the singer with Yes. Got to be better than Andy Johnson anyway (this would have worked better if he'd been called John Andyson but you can't have everything.) Andy Goode - worth a punt.
The People's Hero Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 Bill Cosby - No reason. Also, can we get this back on topic, I can't believe my thread has been ruined. ...... by all the semi-sensible suggestions a few pages back.
lookwhaticando Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 To spend millions on some new legs? I think we could really use someone of his class on the right wing. Even if he is half-crocked still.
ceebeefox Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 I am worried that Kelly wont have the ambition to go for players with a bit of quality. or play a system that would suit them I agree,my fear is that Kelly will go for who and what he knows and that means youth players who haven't made it at prem clubs. When Milan stirred up Pompey (eventually) he got Redknapp and signed Merson, De Zeuw and Steve Stone these are the sort of signings we need to suppliment our youngsters but will RK be strong enough to handle top lads that have been there and done it?.

You mean better than Adams. Maybe we could bring in one or two of these then
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 He's not got too many years left, hes almost 30 Have you ever seen him play? You'll know that even though he's 29, he's still as quick and energetic as he's ever been.
Thracian Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 seeing as heskey would be out of our range i don't think we'd be signing anyone better than him It would be a nice thought though.
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 I know i've been saying it for a while, but Will Hoskins is definitely the sort of player we should be looking at. I'd like Dodds to be given a chance, but Hoskins is the sort of striker that we haven't already got.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 He's not got too many years left, hes almost 30 He'll play till his 35 at least, assuming he doesn't get injured.

Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 And I agree. Although as I have already said, we should keep an eye on Leo Constantine. Got the physique and attributes to be a valuable player at this level, we do need a target man badly.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Got the physique and attributes to be a valuable player at this level, we do need a target man badly. Scoreing goals too. Could be a flash in the pan. Could be he's hitting the peak of his carear.
