I was impressed with him last season when I saw him and in the play-offs he looked quality aswell. I'd have had him down as being able to make the step up to the Championship, but Barnsley got rid. Why? It's shocking the amount of crap in this thread you have to trawl through to get to the serious business. Anyhow... Shuker looked really dangerous for Tranmere down at Sixfields earlier this season. His sort of lively, attacking midfielder has the tendency to drift out of games and there may be a non-footballing reason for his release from Barnsley. Other than that, I'd rather have a player who actually takes defenders on effectively with a bit of pace and the willingness to shoot from distance or provide a decent cross than Josh Low.

Get the lad in. I liked the look of him last season in the play-offs and was surpised Barnsleh let him go, so if he's still looking good then i'd take a punt on him. Great name aswell. He scored 5 goals in 2 games at the start of last month, Pisses all over Dodds three in six. Bet he'd only cost about 50k as well
