Manwell Pablo Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 Right then. just been watching some old leicester vids and i can't believe how good Marcus Bent was for us. Is he still at Charlton? Is he getting regular fotball? I say resign him, he'd destroy this league. Quite right one of the best suggestions so far. David Healy Richard Wright (loan) Anthony Stokes (when he returns to Arsenal) Stuart Elliot Brian Howard Darren Carter Paul Parry Darius Henderson We will have to pay over the odds for Healy as Leeds have money, he's not scoring goals, a waste of Milans money which I wills stress again is far from a bottomless pit, we wont be able to afford Carter or Parry. Why do we want to loan Richard Wright when we are developing out own young goalkeeper? I'd question whether or not Brian Howard is good enough, and Darius "lean back and shoot" Henderson definitely isn't, Watford will wont be selling strikers any time soon anyway seeing as they are desperate. Anthony Stokes is a very exciting prospect, obviously only a complete plank would think we can afford outright but he would be a very good loan signing. I'd better post my list seeing as I have criticized everyone else’s. if we get the money in January Tony Capaldi. David Vaughan. Richard Knooper (part deal for De Vries..Get it done!!) Andy Robinson. Will Hoskins. realistically I don't see Milan shelling out any more than that for January. I'd keep an eye on Leo Constantine at Port Vale and Jermain Easter at Wycomb for the summer.

Interesting suggestion. I don't think he could cut it at this level. Saw him play a few times for Posh and always wondered why he didn't get more games and score more goals there. If we're being sensible for a moment, I'd echo Manwell's suggestion of signing Tony Capaldi. I'd like to see us look at Robbie Blake (Leeds- possible loan) as he's a forward with something a bit different, a bit of vision and creativity. We really need a spark from somewhere. I'd keep tabs on Kem Izzet (Colchester) and Greg Halford (Colchester) too whilst seeing how much Rovrum want for Hoskins. Aside from that, it's vital in my opinion we keep hold of Hume and Kisnorbo. Pretty much anyone else I'd let go for a reasonable sum.

Strokes Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 You'd let Fryatt go?? It wouldn't bother me, he hasn't offered us much for a while now.
RowlattsFox Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 ricardo gardner - not played for bolton this season but he could be injured. radostin kishishev stehphen ireland ray parlour malcom christie richard hughes - a signing from pompey is bound to happen mark noble carlton cole
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 20 November 2006 Author Posted 20 November 2006 It wouldn't bother me, he hasn't offered us much for a while now. Granted, but we have seen what he can offer us...... The guy just needs a bit of time. I dont think we could ever dream of selling him...
Stevosevic Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 Granted, but we have seen what he can offer us...... The guy just needs a bit of time. I dont think we could ever dream of selling him... he can offer us 7 goals in eight months of football?
The People's Hero Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 You'd let Fryatt go?? For what we paid for him I probably would. Hume and Kisnorbo I'd keep unless a bid of £2million came in. I'd be looking for £1.5 million ish for Stearman but would be prepared to let him go. I think the question over Fryatt is a moot point anyway as I can't see us receiving offers for him anytime soon.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 he can offer us 7 goals in eight months of football? To Be Fair he's scored 10.

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 20 November 2006 Author Posted 20 November 2006 he can offer us 7 goals in eight months of football? he's only young and at one point his record at Walsall was 21 goals in 32 league starts and 4 goals in 4 games for England U19s which is a very impressive record. we need to stick by the lad...
Stevosevic Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 To Be Fair he's scored 10. hes scored eight
teblin Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 I'd go for salif diao Need a defensive mid i was impress with him against us.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 hes scored eight Yes your quite right. He did score 20 last season though.
bold_fox Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 What about that Matt Jarvis lad from Gillingham ? Really good player and i understand that he's just rejected a contract offer from Gillingham

Foxello Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 I've always rated Morten Bisgaard of Derby quite highly. We need strenghtening in the Midfield BADLY. AJ, Hughes and Williams just arent up to it.
bold_fox Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 Plymouth will get him. Are they interested in him then ?
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 Someone is, I remember the Gills turning down a £250,000 offer from "A unamed Championship club" in the summer, obviously this wasn't us.
davieG Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 I would hazard a guess that signings are more likely to be players most of us (except Manwell) have never heard of from some Baltic States.
The People's Hero Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 Are they interested in him then ? 2 Championship sides have bid in the region of £200,000 - £300,000 and both have been told that it's nowhere near the valuation. It is thought that Plymouth are favourites if Jarvis moves before his contract expires. If not, who knows. I'd have thought there will be a lot of interest if he stays till the end of his contract. In my opinion, Plymouth will come back with an increased offer which Gills will accept.

It would be frightening to see how many goals he could score at this level. His goal scoring record for a midfielder is highly impressive. Got great experience and still plenty of years ahead of him. Is he actually on a permanent deal there or just on loan from Vittesse?

Ric Flair Posted 21 November 2006 Posted 21 November 2006 Permenant. till 2010. Hmmm, I wonder whether he'd be allowed to leave. They are doing shit and he's only played a handful of games for them. Is he injured again? That's his only downfall, he's a bit injury prone.
