It would be good to get people's opinion now. I'm pretty sure that this would be well in to 90% + if this poll was done at the start of the week. Now that the news it's on temporary hold, has got lots of us thinking the gig is off. I'm one of them, but I over react all the while.

Vote, peckers.

I really think it will still go ahead. His mum getting ill is just bad timing, simple as.

People seem to be blowing it a bit out of proportion if you ask me.

Until i hear him actually say something in the media that sounds negative, im still confident

YES

But because the window is about to close he would be a nutter to spend money on a club that has a chance of being relegated, especially as he cant assist in the purchasing of players until the summer.

If we consolidate our position in this division I reckon he will take over at a cheaper price in April or May.

Ditto... you simply dont make an excuse out of your 86 year-old mother being very ill, people are missing just how important family is for Serbs/Orthordox Christians in general, whats more the club and MM have pointed out that it is "temporary" hold.

Due diligence uncovers the precarious financial nature of the club

Administration would reduce the value of the club to zero. Ten points docked.

Club relegated to League One as Mandaric organises takeover from Admin, saving him £Some millions

Kelly sacked over summer, new manager appointed, investment made in squad.

We walk League One unbeaten, beating Leeds massively home and away.

Hang on... is the poll do I think Mandaric will take over, or do I think this is the end? Because depending on the question, my answer is slightly different.

Sorry, it does appear to be a little confusing. Do you think he will take-over YES or NO.

I knew from day one this was too good to be true. I just can’t see why Mandaric would really be bothered with hassle, time, and money it will be for him to own and run this football club.

I think the deal is off and we’ll be left neck deep in the sh*t again.

So it's a NO from me but hope I'm wrong.

yes he'll buy. but i agree with some people on here that it will be conveniently after the transfer deadline.

I think Milan will believe he can save us from relegation just by his very presence. Kind of a "you are playing for you future" tonic. That and possibly a decent manager to come in with the usual short term lift in fortunes. On this basis if he still wants us he would rather pay £5m now then get us for nothing in 6 months and in L1. Why? Because it adds a year to the Premiership plan. And that will cost him £30m.

What other investment offers such a return to the experienced Football optimist? £5m ito buy, loan £10M, 5 years in the Prem £15m out a year = £60M out after costs. 400% return.

I have always wanted to believe the takeover would happen but never quite thought it would.

By all accounts Milan is a good football man, but if you've ever heard him on the radio you'll know he's always one for the soundbite or grand gesture.

It wouldn't surprise me if this latest "hold-up" is all part of that strategy, though, and he uses our desparation to his advantage.

Unfortunately, I struggle to see why anyone of his age with no connection to Leicester would want to get involved if the tales of debts and internal issues are true. He seems to love his football, but there are easier ways (and probably easier deals) for him to get his buzz.

If only it was so easy (although I presume you're being sarcastic).

The assumption (which I admit to being swept along on myself occasionally) that we will unquestionably get promotion if Mandy takes over is a strange one. Look how many teams have spent money and got nowhere.

It needs the right mix of manager and players to get the team up - in many ways, spending power can be irrelevant (see Martin O'Neill with the likes of Savage, Lennon, Izzet etc).

But, offered the choice today, the dosh would help!

I just don't think someone with Mandaric's business sense and drive would waste this much time on a project he thought would fold. I honestly believe we're talking formalities, now. Besides, there's still the possibility of loan signings at the end of the window, just to keep us buoyant.
