Stinkenzo Posted 1 February 2007 Share Posted 1 February 2007 Im very positive he can do well. Does he strike you as the Paul '' I can bag you a goal in the last 10mins '' Peschisolido or somebody who can stay fit over the duration of the game? Daggers Posted 1 February 2007 Share Posted 1 February 2007 My wife is interested to know if he is up for it just as Frank Worthington was? For the life of me, I do not understand women sometimes - I explained to her that he is a striker so of course he is...and all she did was smirk?! Women! Steven Posted 1 February 2007 Share Posted 1 February 2007 Can I be the first to say that i'm officially Geoff Horsfield's biggest fan, like LWICD did with McAuley. Then if he does do any good, I can keep badgering everyone about how I told them so. If he more than likely does crap from us, i'll delete this post very quickly because i'm Admin and I can do what I ****in want. How can he be Alex, he turned us down before to go to Fulham. Either way, ikokopops found McAuley first... I just became more vocal about it. I'm not so much a #1, I'm more a loud #2 . As funny as that may sound. PS: To remove traces of your silliness, you'll have to delete all other posts in here as plenty of us have quoted it.
He's not bald Posted 1 February 2007 Share Posted 1 February 2007 How can he be Alex, he turned us down before to go to Fulham. He'll do a job but he's not match fit so they'll be no quick fix and we'll need to be patient

Matt Posted 2 February 2007 Share Posted 2 February 2007 Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has revealed Geoff Horsfield could have chosen Celtic over Leicester City. Warnock told the club's website: "Geoff was happy. He spoke to Leicester on a number of occasions - he was actually very close to going to Celtic but something happened behind the scenes, I don't know what. Geoff has gone to Leicester to try and get them up the league table. Surprised, He'd have had the easy life if he did go to Celtic surley...He'd be banging them in up in that shite league. Although I spose he's more likly to get 1st team football here!

Joe. Posted 2 February 2007 Share Posted 2 February 2007 Surely the fact that Celtic wanted him in the first place can only bode well for us? Well he's not the worst player we could have signed definitely. I think he'll do well for us and by the sounds of things, he wants to do well for us and prove some people wrong. Let's see.. lcfc_jme Posted 2 February 2007 Share Posted 2 February 2007 I didn't think Danny Cads would fit in, but he seems to be a cult-hero at the minute and everyone wants him to play. I'm not too sure how Horsfield will fit in either. Though he does give us a different option to our current strikers. Hopefully it'll work out for him. What will happen with the Hume/Fryatt partnership now though?!

What will happen with the Hume/Fryatt partnership now though?! Well it's not exactly setting the league alight at the moment. It's not bad but it could be easily improved. I hope Horsfield starts because he will give us something different up front, something which I feel we have been lacking greatly.
