N Block, L1, Kop - Got something to say about them put it in here.

He did.

After Peter Jones hears about this I hope he can do something to lift Jamie and the other lad's ban. Shocking really. Being banned from the ground for standing. I know it's not permitted but a ban is a bit harsh I think.

Do you actually know that he's been banned tho'?

he could of just been thrown out of the ground for the game

i know thats happened alot before.

Jamie was given a piece of paper saying he will be contacted but is banned until further notice.

Oh right

i dont think it'll be any longer than the end of season tho tbh

i reckon if they do ban him it'll only be for the derby match

Quite sure they will have contacted him by the time Good Friday rolls around.

Even if his ban doesn't get over turned he can still sit in other parts of the ground if one of his mates gets him a ticket, Derby games on TV any way.

EDIT: It will be a three game ban, they always hand out three game bans for first offences.

same at the moment im talking to the other lads mate, and he says his mate has been banned for 3 games he thinks.

and the reason was

"constant standin when being warned to sit down, and gestures to the away support, caught on camera"

he only got one warning and told it would be 3. I think the stewards have been idiots for saying 3 warnings tbh.

Well if someone got a ban from L1 for chanting Istanbul then a ban for standing is pathetic.

It sounds like Jamie has been ejected as a warning to others yes. But gesturing to away fans is something that happens everywhere in every single ground of every stadium in every country. Rarely do people get kicked out for it.

Sounds like a load of crap to me...

Well it's one way to bring the crowds flocking back to Filbert Way add this to the shite on the pitch and it's a wonder anyone turns up.

Be interesting to see what the crowd will be against Derby.

i agree with you that it is crap but they can do it for gesturing. I got kicked out at southampton this year because i was so pissed off and i lost it and i accept that. But i was gesturing to the home fans, a bit too much though.

I'm considering not going for the rest of the season TBH, despite having been offered the four remaining games for a tenner.

Just spoke to Jamie on the phone. He's far from impressed to say the least. His ST has being taken off him but has not being contacted by the club.

No doubt he will make an appearance soon.

Right then I gather that some people off here would have seen me being ejected from the game, and would have seen me at the end of the match as well, and, well to say I'm not impressed is an understatement.

Sure, we were warned when we got into the ground that people would be ejected for persistent standing today. OK then I thought to myself. Fair enough. I took it into consideration and, indeed proceeded to sit down throughout the first half in between singing songs.

The impression I have (though they didn't make it fully clear to me in the detention room) was that I have been ejected from the ground for persistent standing. Now, if there are people stood infront of me all game, am I supposed to sit down and watch their arse for the duration? I don't think so somehow. And I'm not exaggerating at all - out of most of the people who were on the 17 or so standing rows today, I must have sat down about the most.

As for gesturing at the away fans, excuse me for looking in their direction for songs such as "Tranmere, on a Friday night" or "Going down, going down, going down". Didn't realise that counted as gesturing.

They reckon they have CCTV footage of my gestures and my lack of sitting - yet when I ask to view it they ignore my request?

I have had my Season Ticket taken off of me, and am indeed banned from the ground until further notice. I think the situation is a complete and utter joke, as was the handling. I am no more than a scapegoat. Banned for doing nothing at all if truth be told. Absolutely pathetic. I am disgusted with the club in general over this matter.

Regretfully I am e-mailing you following a very disappointing experience at Leicester city today. This has nothing to do with the action on the pitch, as that is part of being a supporter; I am more frustrated by the atmosphere at the games and the half-hearted efforts by the club to improve it.

This season is my second as a season ticket holder and I always try to do my bit for the atmosphere. Consequently, when I heard about the new singing section I decided to make the move. Having enjoyed the atmosphere in the trial games I decided to stick in the N block for the rest of the season, and I have recently moved my season ticket across there.

Today I sat on row CC, and was very disappointed with the general attitude of stewards and police in this area. I and many people around me were both surprised and disappointed at being told to sit down, which gets me thinking, should I have moved? In addition to being told to sit down, the police were filming the whole section throughout the match; this makes me feel very patronised as I am trying to watch a game of football.

I am also told that people were chucked out for persistent standing, how many you ask... two. Yes out of the few hundred Leicester fans standing in N block, the same number in L block and likewise in the away fans, two Leicester fans were chucked out for persistent standing. This is completely ridiculous, especially since we were in a supposed singing area. There are clear mixed messages being sent out from the club.

Away fans stand every match and nothing is ever done, so it hardly seems fair that Leicester fans are thrown out, baring in mind they probably had no intention of causing trouble.

There is also the issue of gesturing, apparently you can be thrown out for this too. This happens at EVERY ground in the country by THOUSANDS of fans, and I don't see how its that bad, I had QPR fans slapping their butts directed at me and trying to intimidate me with their height, they did not get escorted out, the club needs to be consistent and make it clear to all fans, home and away, what the consequences will be.

I appreciate you have to bear in mind all supporters, but I think you are isolating the most vocal fans and pushing them away, which can only be bad for the club and the atmosphere. I also think if you are going to have a singing section it needs to be given full support, and people who are sitting in that section need to be aware that it is meant for singing. Sorry to rant on but as I say I am very frustrated and don’t know where I stand (or sit) with regards to the club and the atmosphere. I have still not covered everything I wanted to say but I’ll leave it at that for now.

I thank you in advance for any reply and taking my thoughts into consideration.

I did say it was long.

If today is anything to go by, I'd say two more games. Tops.

I wouldn't give up straight away. This is one isolated incident that was probably handled by the stewards the wrong way. Let's be honest now, the N block idea is now up and running so do you need the club anymore anyway?

You have the fan power all it needs is for people to keep going there. The club can't stop that.
