Jack Leach is out of the Ashes series with a lower back stress fracture. Cricinfo highlight "Candidates to come into the squad could include Rehan Ahmed, Will Jacks and Liam Livingstone, all of whom made Test debuts in Pakistan over the winter, as well as the previously capped Dom Bess and Liam Dawson."

I know Kimber and Hill both had knocks at the start but they were playing for the 2s so surely could have been drafted in sooner. As for the selection of Davis, I have never seen him pull up any trees like Hull did yesterday, how on Earth was he being selected. 
 

Should Ahmed be called up by England, then it would be nice to Steel called in as our 2nd/3rd spin/bat but not sure he will ever play for us again, seems to have made Claude cry.

Wiaan Mulder is back in tonight's squad, hopefully as a straight swap into the XI for Naseem. Lilley can F:mad: Off and help out with the car parking.

No more than 5%. Based on the number of points needed for qualifying in previous seasons we will need to win 6 or 7 of our last 8 games.
