Chris Lynn is quality. An overseas bat like him, it only needs 4 or 5 good knocks out of the 14 games and he wins you those games. That's what we had with Josh Inglis.

My god it felt so good when we won the 1st Champs game, but we probably won't win another game in any comps for the rest of the season.

Will Nixon ever get the boot or do Top and Rudkin run the club.

We are way off the required level. The batsman have scored only 1 fifty between them in 5 matches. And we've conceded 100s in 2 games running.

We look miles off don't we. They won that at an absolute canter. I think Lynn could have almost chased the target down on his own if he'd had to.

Our batting lineup by noteable scores:

Welsh - 2 50s (both in Zim) HS 68

Hill - 3 50s HS 59

Patel - 1 50 HS 57

Kimber - 1 50 HS 53

Ackermann - 21 50s HS 85

Swindells - 3 50s HS 63

Ahmed - 0 50s HS 33

4 bowlers - 0 50s

Ackermann has twice as many 50s as the rest combined. Really hope we've seen a couple more by this evening but will be watching from behind the sofa.

I feel this exposes our poor recruitment, even with Mulder fit we're still clearly short at least one experienced bat in this format and Lilley isn't it. Thinking about it Steel has 6 50s and scored 2 in each of the last 2 seasons despite featuring about half the time so perhaps could have been a good option.

Anyone got the stream for this game?

Go on Josh Hull!

It’s on Durham’s YouTube channel. Every group game is streamed by the home club.

Slightly disappointed we’ve let them set us 169 after the start we had.

Really disappointed to see Welch gone for 30. Seems to consistently manage 30s and a couple 40s last season too and suspect if he could get a 50 on the board his confidence would soar.

Miles better. Kimber on a mission to prove we were daft for not starting the tournament with him.

He was injured for most of May, his come back was in the 7 wicket defeat to Notts 2nds on 30 May in the Second XI T20 North Group where he scored 14 off 10.

Kimber could become one of those global t20 specialists, he has something about him.

I agree.

He has box office power. A couple towering 6s today. Fantastic to see.
