Great performance from Sam Wood though, hopefully he can continue to make improvements. Apart from the overseas players and Ben Cox, it's a very young team, especially compared to that derbyshire side

Why does Madsen always turn into bradman against us

It's not just against the foxes he scores runs against everybody outstanding player. The annoying  thing is Patel has been finished as a T20 batsman  for a good couple of years he very rarely scores at much more then a run a ball which is why Notts let him go but he's managed to turn back the clock in both matches against us,The £10k or so we spent on Stirling proved to be money down the drain

Why is Currie in the squad and not starting? He's looked our best seam bowler in the T20 this season

He’s been going at less than 6 an over yet people going at over 10 walk into the team

Where has this 10k figure come from or is it a guess?

The Stirling run out makes it even more of a shocking decision.

Would it have not made more sense to bring Hill in at 3 or 4 to play the Handscomb role and not waste money on a darts player? We’ve really missed Handscomb’s captaincy.

Currie is injured. Handscomb and Ahmed should be back for the next set of games.

An educated guess that's the kind of figure the specialist T20 players get for flying around the world to play a couple of games sometimes more. Remember Dwayne Bravo got paid 20k for playing one T20 match for Essex and that was years ago. Also know an ex committee  member who confirmed these are the kind of figures that the club got quoted  when they were looking for short term signings for a game or 2

Hasn't Handscomb's captaincy regularly been criticised

Stirling's run out was madness. Neesham has been pretty disappointing.

I thought Mike bowled ok and could have had a couple more, plenty of edges. Sam Wood though, take a bow.

Still in a decent position to qualify. Weather could make it a slight lottery but we are in the mix.

Still in the mix that's for sure think we will need to win 3/4 though to qualify

If Hanscombe doesn’t recover in time it would make sense to bring in Lewis as skipper for the last blast games. I’m quite sure we can’t afford to allow a senior pro to twiddle his thumbs whilst we hire someone on a short term contract

Don't understand the Lewis Hill situation  he's an attacking batsman who always scores quickly  they even have Evans in the squad in front of him

Nor me. He always used to be a key member of the 1 day set up.

Baffling

To be fair, he's struggled in T20 cricket over the past few seasons. Got to offer more than Budinger, though.

Just learned after providing the Charles Palmer suite free for over 20 years the club makes a fair amount behind the bar the club will be charging £200 plus vat to the Leicester cricket society this year to hold meetings. This is really poor from the County who have always had a strong relionship with the society

These short term overseas signings simply don't work.

Neesham going at close to 12 since he got here for 1 wicket. Stirling was a dreadful effort, being unfit and taking a ridiculous quick single.

Thanks for coming chaps. How much have you cost?
