Yeah the idea that Lancs have only lost 10 home games over 23 years is silly, especially when we’ve probably beaten them that many times at Old Trafford.

The best one was when Abdul Razzaq kept hitting them into the building site. Think we needed 64 from the last 4 overs and did it with balls to spare 😂😂

That was on Sky sports..Remember it well

They had a full week off in the middle of that schedule. Even the best scheduler cannot predict droughts.

I think they need more than a week off in the early block. There might be an assumption that a few days will be lost to rain, but you can't assume that. There were some very tired performances by the time we got to that last round and it favours counties with bigger squads.

We won there last year really well, Rehab bowled a couple of jaffas I remember.

He did,  Rehan also done well with the bat if i recall correctly, and Bumble Lloyd was commentating for Lancs tv, and raving about him.

Strangely this season, listening to him on the rest is cricket podcast, Bumble doesnt seem impressed, and favours other spinners in the game, most notably at the moment Liam Dawson.

Chance that Rehab will be playing at Hove, Bashir's been given the nod over him for the Lord's Test XII.

Good effort (79 red out of 165-9) from Gumbs in our 2nd XI Twenty20 win over Notts today with Alex Green taking an impressive 4-24, Trevaskis 3-18, and Scriven returning from injury. Hull and Wood were laced for 76 off 6 overs between them as the Foxes won a thriller by 1-run.

He will be playing for the England lion's won't he? Good chance we him for to 2 county championship games starting the end of next week especially as he hasn't played any cricket this year.

Scriven got to be straight back in if he’s fit

Given how poor our batting has been surely Gumbs can't be far away from a go soon.

Would need a contract first wouldn't he, assumed he is without one as ex Surrey and with our two’s via Loughborough uni.

They can bang him on a short term deal easily enough.

Few players have played over the years after playing for the 2nds who haven't been on contract.Chris Thompson ex Surrey Preston Mommsen David Sayer etc.Michael Thornley wasn't on contract when he made his debut. He scored 100 in first innings 97 in second innings and was rewarded with a 2 year contract.Barely scored a run after that.

I think the county commercial and socials teams -  normally so good - have made a  boo boo with this 'barmy army' link up.

There can't be a county supporter base further removed from that peculiar middle class 'army' that sit in fancy dress and bang out Jerusalem all day.

We're unashamedly a bit more of a  grounded support.
