How? The only result we can get is a draw or loss. We have to win our two games but its a tall order especially against Somerset.

Not us Notts

If we get a draw here its all to play for. Yorks, Essex, Glamorgan and Surrey remain in sight.

What do you think they will try and set us?

Just assuming they get us in the first hour, will they leave us as little as 220+ to chase in the last 2 sessions given other results?

Rehan's been named in the England ODI squad but not the T20 squad, so he'll be available for the remaining games apart from the last match against Warwickshire on 24th.

Same here. Grind them down in the first session and kill the game.

If we can pass the follow on target declare. May force Notts into a declaration and a chase. Once weve passed the follow on target dangle a carrot

Firstly we need another 51 to avoid the follow on.

Hopefully we can do that. Forecast looks good tomorrow so should be a full days play. Think they’d declare with a 350 lead should we avoid the follow on. Draw doesn’t help them, where it’s the best we can hope for.

Annoyingly for us we have Somerset and Warwickshire who are in the title hunt. Hampshire is a must win.

I checked the score on the BBC website at one point yesterday pm and I swear it showed Hull as 100 not out - my youngest can vouch for me as I showed him my screen in surprise. Then checked back later to see he was out for 97 and was gutted for him. Obviously the BBC cocked up somehow.

Good to see the lads fighting so hard. Even if we go down, which is probably most likely, given the remaining fixtures, we've put up a fight. We've also brought in some good young players like Gumbs and Shaikh, to go with our own promising youngsters like Rehan, Alex Green and Hull.

With the Aussies over here next summer, imagine getting Mitch Starc in the house for a few games as an Ashes warm up and using the opportunity for him to help with Hull's bowling development.

Yeah the BBC scorecard showed him on 100 for a couple of minutes, I had to delete my congratulations post on here pretty sharpish lol

Can't be many times we've had a 10 and 11 who've both batted in a top 3 but not as nightwatchmen. Davey opened for Somerset last year and Scriven has batted 3 for us.

Nah first innings lead on the cards then bowl them out for 50

If Hull can get to 97 on this deck, these two could easily put on 200 between them.
