Daggers Posted 29 April 2007 Author Posted 29 April 2007 You gotta believe there'll be more fat kids crying next Sunday for us to laugh at...the ****ers are SO arrogant they'll be believing that there is a possibility of them beating Derby 6-0 and Hull losing by the same score.

lookwhaticando Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 Just think... If our hopeless gobshite inadequately prepared players hadn't fooked up at home Leeds would already be relegated officially!
Bert Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 "We're to good to go down" Yeah right. I wonder if they'llstill be marching on together now.
Mikey Posted 29 April 2007 Posted 29 April 2007 "We're to good to go down" Yeah right. I wonder if they'llstill be marching on together now. Nah doubt it. Marching down together maybe though ;) :)

Steven Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 It just gets better. The BBC (BBC Breakfast) are reporting that Leeds may go into Administration in the next seven days. I love the irony of having the Wise connection for our troubles and now at Leeds. It could not happen to a nicer Club and a nicer group of people.

They are doing it now so that they get the points deduction over with this season rather than next. Grrrr... Ge'down stay down!
Daggers Posted 30 April 2007 Author Posted 30 April 2007 Leeds hold meeting on club future Leeds were in the Champions League semi-finals six years ago Leeds United will hold a board meeting at Elland Road on Monday morning to discuss the future of the club. Leeds were all-but relegated to League One on Saturday after a 1-1 draw with Ipswich, leaving them three points adrift with only one game left. The club's second relegation in three years could lead to serious financial implications. Leeds sold Elland Road and their Thorp Arch training ground in November 2004 to avoid going into administration. Meanwhile, chairman Ken Bates has given his backing to manager Dennis Wise despite their drop into the third tier of English football. Wise took over as boss from Kevin Blackwell in October but has failed to keep Leeds in the Championship. Bates said: "Dennis has done a much better job than many people realise. "We were in a much worse position when Dennis came in than people know about. "Some of the difficulties he inherited cannot be made public, but there were real problems in the dressing room. The playing side was in complete disarray." Leeds will be relegated on Sunday unless they score a hatful of goals to beat Derby and Hull City lose at home to Plymouth.

Lets Be having You Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Just been listening to talk sport meeting this morning at LEEDS with poss administration on the cards.Oh dear 3 points or is 10 points loss next season Ha Ha,how ironic wise put us into admin, now he may be there himself,What goes round,as they say.
Stuliasz Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Whilst I feel sorry for any club as a whole who get docked points through in my opinion a very stupid and not well thought out rule, I may have to make an exception whilst the little midget is still there because of his antics that pushed us over the edge.
Daggers Posted 30 April 2007 Author Posted 30 April 2007 This has already been covered in Gen. Sport - which doesn't make it any the less funny
Daggers Posted 30 April 2007 Author Posted 30 April 2007 BBC NEWS 24: "If they go into administration this week, Leeds WILL start next season with a 10 points deduction." Ge'down stay down!

If I were a Leeds fan I would prefere administration and a -10 points deduction if it allowed the club to hold on to some of it's better players.

Once the loanees have gone - that doesn't leave many...and then the better one's are going to want to play in The Championship. They don't own the ground, they don't own the training ground and now they are going to have to sell what players they have left in another fire-sale. If I were a Leeds fan I'd prefer cricket.
Master Fox Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 BBC NEWS 24: "If they go into administration this week, Leeds WILL start next season with a 10 points deduction." Ge'down stay down! This is just hilarious. Back to Back relegation for Leeds!!!

If I were a Leeds fan I'd prefer cricket. I don't think they will if they do go into administration, if you remember us going into admin we managed to retain a large proportion of our Premier League Squad, we had to as we couldn't bring anyone else in as we had a transfer embargo put on us by the FA, as will Leeds I would of thought. Obviously Leeds will clear out what Dead Wood (e.g Crainey) they can, a few of their better players will have to go (e.g Healy) and players like Gary Kelly who still earn 20 odd grand a week will also be gone. But I bet they'll be left with a half decent side at that level should they take that route. Obviously the -10 points thing will be a bit of a shitter but it's not the end of the world. Anyway as I say I would prefere it to having to sell the whole of the current team and rebuilding completley in League One (what most Leeds fans want for some reason). They may have got Leeds relegated but they do look like they are turning into a half decent team.
brookfox Posted 30 April 2007 Posted 30 April 2007 Anyone know when the -10 points applies if they go into admin in the next 7 days i.e. this season. Will the points be deducted from this year or is it carried over? Sounds like they're taking advantage of the rules to me!

I suppose your right, if they went into admin, say today, i would have a guess and say the points will be deducted this season!!! Whatever the outcome, i'm still smiling at the thought of the trolll and Leeds failure!!
