Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I think it's about time we integrated our finest achievement into our newest song. Different clubs have different things to be proud of. Whisper it but we've never won the league and we've never won the FA Cup, but we've also NEVER BEEN LOWER LEAGUE, as BartonFox heroically put it the other day. There's nothing better than a chant where your fans know what it means but other teams don't immediately know what you're banging on about i.e. the Leeds fans singing WACCOE (admit it, that sounded brilliant when they came here recently) and the United fans in the following clip combining songs about Leeds and Man City. So, in the style of We all hate Leeds scum We all hate Leeds scum We all hate Leeds scum We all hate Leeds scum And then there were nine And then there were nine And then there were nine And then there were nine Come on N Block.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 May 2007 Author Posted 2 May 2007 Here's to being eternally mediocre! ;) Them's the breaks.
Daggers Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 So, in the style of He makes me smile - he's having such a great time chanting and clapping his thighs

Brilliant! Brings back memories of last Saturday at Barnsley!
London_Fox Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 I particularly like the intelligent and naunced football debate that goes on during the comments section under that clip. Some true football fans engaged in a mixture of clever banted and in depths analysis...both clubs should be really proud of them. I like the song but singing about Leeds? Do they really deserve it?

a-fox Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Erm.... no.Leeds will do nicely. We all hate Leeds more than Coventry. why do you hate leeds ?
lildave3 Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 would it not be better to sing we all hate cov scum instead ? No, because Cov have not just been relegated to the 3rd division for the first time in history.

potter3 Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 would it not be better to sing we all hate cov scum instead ? Would the "And then there were nine" be like "30 years, **** all" where one group sings "were nine?"
Daggers Posted 2 May 2007 Posted 2 May 2007 Would the "And then there were nine" be like "30 years, **** all" where one group sings "were nine?" Stop feeding the odious little troll!

I like the way that the "We`ve won it 5 times" chant comes out that the Scousers sing, could we incorporate it in that instead/as well as?? Listen to the chant at the start of this youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB38hOrAMWE The thing is we hate Leeds these days mostly because of that cheating little pixy and if he gets sacked then its arguably pointless in singing anti-Leeds songs isnt it???!! How about something like... We hate Dennis Wise We hate Dennis Wi--se and his Leeds Scum We hate Dennis Wise And now there are 9 and now there are 9 In History There are on-ly 9 Just an idea!!
Floating Fox Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 We hate Dennis WiseWe hate Dennis Wi--se and his Leeds Scum We hate Dennis Wise And now there are 9 and now there are 9 In History There are on-ly 9 Just an idea!! Godly song, and worth a go on sunday...but i doubt it'll catch on City fans can't sing songs that last more than one line remember!
mancunianfox Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Can't we just have our own songs instead of ripping off everyone elses?
James. Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Can't we just have our own songs instead of ripping off everyone elses? Come on then Elton, let's hear it...
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 why do you hate leeds ? To be honest he does have a point. What do we care about Leeds United.
Webbo Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 here's my chant to the tune of 10 green bottles, if anyone can improve it feel free. there were 10 league teams who stayed above them all, there were 10 league teams who stayed above them all, but if the scummy leeds bastards should accidentally fall, (haaaaaaaa) there'd be 9 league teams and we don't care at all.
DB11 Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 This is much better than fez's There was an air disasterSome 50 years ago Matt Busby and his boys Were DYING in the snow Searching through the wreckage Looking for the DEAD And there was Duncan Edwards Without his fooking head. Creative but still a bit stupid
