Far from the £0 he is currently worth.

like i said, positivity

yeah but to say these two signings (RUMOURED) and already i sense pessimism from you. I'd rather let the football do the talking once Allen brings in the players he wants. Ever considered the players feelings?

I'm bound to be pessimistic, they may only be rumours but they still worry me.

oh come on everyone, we need some strength in depth and if no fees are involved I don't see a problem with these. Allen is a motivator, if they don't perform you know what will happen...

..Pardew will buy them for 2 million each...

Happy days

be optimistic then, they may not sign!! Pint half full remember...

Nothing against you mate but i just wish i saw more positiveness on these boards like some people have been in this thread

I have real fear that this is more than a rumour.

Carl Cort from first hand experience of watching him play is not an inspiring or even semi decent signing.

Wolves don't want him neither do I!

Jesssuuuussss christ.

Might vacate these transfer talk forums for a while.

1. They haven't signed yet

2. I doubt any money would be involved

3. Give em a b*stard chance

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we are not Man Utd, we are Leicester City who have narrowly escaped relegation to the third tier of english football for the past couple of seasons. "we can do better than that" what a load of b*llocks.

Hayes being loaned to Chesterfield but failing to make an appearance doesn't fill me with confidence.

But who knows MA knows what he's doing and he'll know a lot more about the player than any of us so we've got to trust his judgement.

Cort  failed a medical at Palarse last year

Yeah, come on positivity.....so he was close to signing for Peter Twatlor, we all know what a shrewd operator he was :frusty:

Oh no, we are being linked with a former Premiership striker on a free transfer, it's the end of the world.

Get real. Cort knows he has had a lot of injuries and we would be taking a bit of a risk by giving him a contract. He will want to impress and he has more pedigree than any of our current strikers.

The Carl Cort rumour just does not seem to go away, so I'm guessing that there is some truth in that. I'll give him a chance hear, hopefully by bringing him in on a free this will allow us to spend more on another striker.

Can't say I know anything about John Haynes :dunno:

Carl Cort on a free transfer on a pay as you play deal isn't that bad. He's good in the air and if we get rid of de Vries and Elvis then we need 3 new striekrs and Cort on a free is decent as a squad player.

However, if he is to be classed as the main striker we are signing this summer then i'll be slightly worried.

I'd take Cort on a free like a shot.

He does have a bit of quality there - just needs the right manager to bring it out of him.

And the right physio. Allen thinks we have one of the best in the country.

Sound move.

Ibe just been on the MK Dons forum - Moocamp, they seem to rate this Hayes guy. I'll post a few quotes.

- NOOOOOOOOO!!! Thats shocking news - how did we let that happen.

- As a league one we may have had a chance of getting him. But he's far too good for this division and I can't see he would have come here permanently even had Allen stayed.

- Yes there is a remote chance he will return but more likely he wont which will be a shame as he looked quality.

- Was praying he would return, he was bloody exciting to watch when he got he ball.....

- Heading for the Walkers maybe?

Whoever gets him will be pleased with that bit of business

- I hope we sign him, but what worries me is that with no manager, no decision will be made and we will lose in to another dam team.

Did he even play for them?

I'd say 4 stikers. 2 small nippy and 2 target men replacement for each.

Out of interest, where does Fryatt fit into that little plan?
I'd say 4 kebabs. 2 small chippies and 2 savaloy as a replacement for fish.

I think he covered it here Fez.
