Micky Ruddle Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 What made me laugh was when Sidebottom bowled a bouncer at Dinesh Karthik, RS showed his frustration and DK just laughed at him. Good bowler however
Raj Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 Tendulkar reached the 11,000 runs mark earlier Guy may be getting on abit but he IS A LEGEND! One of THE ALL TIME GREATS! Apparently he can go into any pub in Inda and get a free pint!!!(Apparently!) Brian Lara (11,953) Allan Border (11,174) Tendulkar(11,000+)
Milky Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 409- 5 :pinch: Great batting conditions at the moment. It's funny how these last two wickets haven't actually been out, very poor umpiring in this game.
Raj Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Great batting conditions at the moment. It's funny how these last two wickets haven't actually been out, very poor umpiring in this game. Tendulkar and Ganguly= bad decisions!
Flynny Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Tendulkar and Ganguly= bad decisions! Makes up for a few perfectly good LBW shouts being turned down on Saturday. It evens itself out in the end.
Raj Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Makes up for a few perfectly good LBW shouts being turned down on Saturday. It evens itself out in the end. Should have atleast let Tendulkar got his 100 then give him a dodgy decision!!!
Milky Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 It's swinging all over the place at the moment, this is going to be very tough.
surrifox Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 no-one considered for selection for England should be in trouble against swinging deliveries at the pace these pie-chuckers serve them up
Joe. Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Wouldn't like to tempt fate, but it's going nicely at 129-1. Let's just hope we can keep this up...
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I thought cricket was suppose to be a gentlemans game. This is nuts.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 KP out for 19, oh dear. In his defense, they were bowling the ball at his head, if it was me it might affect my concentration. They've just wound him up as they know he has a short fuse.
Dr The Singh Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 In his defense, they were bowling the ball at his head, if it was me it might affect my concentration. They've just wound him up as they know he has a short fuse. All a part of the game, with KP gone, only Monty's batting skills can save us now!!!
FilboFox Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 According to the BBC we should be pleased with the score... VERY PLEASED!!! SECOND NPOWER TEST, Trent Bridge, day four: England 198 & 2040-3 v India 481 India were scenting victory over England at Trent Bridge after RP Singh removed Kevin Pietersen lbw. Pietersen, almost decapitated by a Sree Santh beamer in the previous over, was unsettled and played no shot to a ball swinging late from round the wicket. Michael Vaughan had his 16th Test fifty but needed a lot more, plus plenty of support from Paul Collingwood and co to give England any hope of a draw. At 175-3, England still needed 108 more to make India bat a second time.
FilboFox Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 May have changed the score by the time that you look but I can assure you they had put 2040 as our second innings score so far!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 221 at tea. not quite out of it just yet if we can get to the end of the day without losing a wicket.
Raj Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Think it will end up being a draw cos of Vaughans innings.
Blue Bob Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Think it will end up being a draw cos of Vaughans innings. Hopefully!
Milky Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 The second new ball did all the damage. Classy innings from the skipper, and so unlucky with the dismissal. The toss really has proved to be crucial, the early conditions were so different.
