Think i'll pass tbh.

Tch! ****ing keyboard.

I meant to say - that's nothing you should see my pens.

Maybe I should have taken that Mavis Beacon typing course after-all.

I used to love that game where you raced against another car and if you typed incorrectly a fly hit the screen and left a mess.

Had that on the ol' Windows 3.1

I'm likening his record last season to Trevor Benjamin's at Leicester in the 2002/03 season, it's just a shame we didn't have a trigger happy team willing to pay £1.6+ million for him.
Harsh... he scored 12 last year and benji scored 13 in his whole city career.
You're right ther. I also see a smidgen of Elvis Hammond in DJ Campbell though, thankfully Campbell is slightly more composed in front of goal though.

Incidently, Benjamin is having a better season than Mr Campbell. Perhaps I was being harsh on Trevor.

I don't think its wise bumping this thread back up again. He might show his worth during the course of the season.

You should've done this towards the end of the season.

I know nothing. Still think he has looked okay up front with De Vries though. Just been hung out to dry with Hume and Cort. Would like to see him with Fryatt.

He's not playing the style of game that he's meant to be known for. He's a supposed all action striker, like Paul Dickov. Who chases, harries and never gives up. Since he's come here, I think he's looked lazy until he's got the ball and then he perks up slightly. He's not been that bad, but he's not been anywhere near good enough to be our main striker this season and at the price we paid, that's disgusting. I think he's likely to be disillusioned here as well, no his mate has been fooked off out of here.

He was hardly setting the place alight then either. Looked unfit in pre-season, didn't score a goal infact. Scored a couple of worm burners, which we hoped would spark him in to life. But it still covered up the fact he looked off the pace and fairly lightweight. It's got worse as well.

I'd not throw in the towel yet, for that sort of cash we must give him a few more chances. It's not as if any of our other strikers are burying goals either. Fryatt & Campbell might be the next on the check list, all the other combinations seem crap so far this season.

I'd rather that happen and look a complete numpty than to be proved right.

Hume of Fryatt and Campbell is our best option if you ask me but thats only down to a woeful lack of alternatives.

And apparently I hear in certain quarters we don't need another striker!

The only other partnership I've seen that's looked promising was Cort and Hume who showed some decent touches and awareness away at Plymouth, and haven't played together again yet.

Cort is like a burnt fried egg, you know it could have been spot on, but that's unlikely to happen now, so you either settle for a mingin egg cob or bin it and have some pate on toast (Collins John could be the pate).

Brussell Pate, Belgian. But hang on, Collins John is Dutch. Aah well, it had promise just like Carl once did.

i see things of campbell that make me believe he will come good. If we can get collins john in and have him fighting for a place with hume, fryatt and campbell then i feel thats a great strikeforce as i do rate them all.
