Toby or not Toby Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 A good sauce has said he's at the training ground NOW. Tomato or Barbeque?
Flexx Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 A good sauce has said he's at the training ground NOW. Let me guess, someone of talking balls?
Milky Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Which ?Ketchup? BBQ? *So predictable* He said a GOOD source.
Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Indeed RN fox, was spot on with lots of players earlier in the season. I believe he works for the club in some capacity.
Toby or not Toby Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 True.Hopefully he does sign tomorrow, i doubt he'd be match fit for the weekend tho I heard he had been training with Chelsea to keep himself fit, I don't believe that though.
scrivins2 Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 my cousin saw hasslebaink with his agent outside the walkers hopefully to be signed soon
Ashley Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I heard he had been training with Chelsea to keep himself fit, I don't believe that though. I think Ched put the link up in one of his posts on the Rumors Page. I can see him training with Chelsea due to his time there.
Brainy Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 my cousin saw hasslebaink with his agent outside the walkers hopefully to be signed soon You've been on football rumours haven't you.
Toby or not Toby Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I think Ched put the link up in one of his posts on the Rumors Page. I can see him training with Chelsea due to his time there. I wouldn't think mourinho was the type
Ashley Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I wouldn't think mourinho was the type He could be training with the reserves?
Simi Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I heard he had been training with Chelsea to keep himself fit, I don't believe that though. It is true.
escape2victory Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I heard he had been training with Chelsea to keep himself fit, I don't believe that though. Sky commentator Martin Tyler mentioned he had been training with Chelsea over the summer to keep fit during the Community Shield match last week. He said tongue in cheek that if Chelsea's injury crisis carried on, JFH might get a short term contract there
samingram_uk Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 He could be training with the reserves? Yer he is, i also heard that chelsea could give him a part-time contract because of their injuy problems.
Tevez Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I'm sure Steve Clarke will have something to do with Hasslebaink training with them. I can't wait if he signs.
Scow Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Would be a gamble, but one we should be willing to take. Hume and de Vries are not out and out strikers, Cort is injured and Fryatt doesn't seem to be in Allen's plans. I think he still has another 2 years left in him. We all know about JHF and what he would bring. I imagine he isn't much different to his last season at Boro apart from fitness at the moment. Give him the service and he's a proven finisher. All depends on his attitude and fitness as to whether he'll be a success or not.

One half of me thinks 'Yeah get him in, a quality player' whereas another part of me thinks that he would just be here for a last pay day.
James. Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Bingo. Maybe but you would hope that with Allen breathing down his neck we could overcome that. This is exactly the sort of dilemna where I expected Allen to come into his own. Get him in. F**k it, it's a risk but if it pays off it pays off big.
Matt Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Bingo. Seems like he'd fit in well here, well he would of last season anyway, Not necceserily there last pay day but the players were just waiting around of the next pay day. Thing is with MA here I don't think he'd allow it.

If he gets his head in the right mind and wants to play for the club I think he will be a valuble asset!
Tube Bar Rich Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 If he gets his head in the right mind and wants to play for the club I think he will be a valuble asset! He is a quality striker, should tear up the defence of many Championship side. They will all be so busy keeping an eye on him it may give the others that extra second of space and benifit the whole attack..... here's hoping :-)
dandannieldanok Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 He won't suit the hoofball game, he could flop through no fault of his own.
Brenfox Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Why is it when we show any interest in a 32+ year old the phrase 'one last payday' gets fired out like ping pong balls in a Thai brothel.
