Hasselbaink medical at Leicester

Look on the bright side... Hull's transfer efforts in the summer make this look well organized!

Either way, no offense to JFH always struck me as a decent bloke, just dont think we needed him is all... get the sense that his agent hasn't been totally transparent, i expect neither Milan/Martin or JFH know entirely whats gone on.

don't think jimmy needs an agent he's doing a pretty good job of whoring himself through SSN lol

Well fook me sideways, I would miss this wouldn't I..

Anyone sum up the interview?

jimmy said he agreed terms with MM and MA said to come for a medical, he turned up but there was to be no medical for him , MM says that he agreed terms and MA wanted him on trial first, then while talking to MM, jimmy rang up ssn and said he didnt know anything about a trial which made MM pause for a little while! so basically its a biiiiiiiiiiig cock up lol

Mandaric said they offerered Jimmy a one month trial

Jimmy was on 30 mins earlier and basically, he heard nothing about a trial.

Can't see what Hasselbaink is hanging about for. He's at the fag end of his career. There don't seem to be many clubs clambering for his services. And if he can't accept that Martin Allen wants to see if he retains any fitness and whether his personality would fit the club then perhaps he should look elsewhere to be a big fish in a small pond.

he said that JFH WILL NOT JOIN UNLESS HES WILLING TO GO ON TRIAL FIRST, (which was when ssn said that jimmy had phoned them back up saying he didnt know about the trial) so there could still be hope for jimmy, but watch ssn now because something is going to happen i think (another interview i think..)

I think whats happened here is MA wanted to have him on trial first and Milan (not Jimmy) wasn't happy about it at all, this was the "disagreement" and they ended up telling Jimmy the medical was off and on hold whilst they tried to sort things out, but they didn't get sorted last night, so it's stayed like it has and JFH heard nothing all day probably due to MA leaving early this morning with the squad to Accrington.

And thats my best case scenario...

A big cover up on MM's part me thinks! MA probably put his foot down and there was a breakdown of comms! I feel for JFH, we're looking like a right bunch of un-organised tossers here!

There's not a chance Jimmy will accept a 30day trial though. It's almost like pulling out of the deal

i think its notable that mandaric said hes backing allen 100% in his decision know one seems to have mentioned that

Watching that has made me change my mind abit about Jimmy.

Seems he is a bit hungry to prove the doubters such as myself wrong.

Though its too late for him now.

I can't be arsed to read 28 pages of this - So I cut to the OS - Not a word on there

At least it's still on SkySports Online

I guess this outcome makes this thread entirely pointless??

Sorry to get on board with this really late, but why the fook would we want that lazy, always overrated, passed-his best twat here? And please, PLEASE don't give me that "Oh he'll be awesome in this division" nonsense. He's lazy, lazy, lazy.

I hanker for those lovely days last season when there were threads that weren't pointless.

We've had nothing but pointless threads for weeks now DS, weeks.

*sigh* :(

Strangely, there's something reassuring that we haven't become too professional at Leicester and that we are still able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, making ourselves look like *rses on national TV.

I feel sorry for Jimmy. Maybe Martin is right to want to take him on trial, but both parties entered into negotiations in good faith. A deal was agreed only for us (Leicester) to change the goalposts. Unfortunately, this has now blown up in our face and we look like big hairy tits.

To then go on on Sky Sports and try to put a bit of positive PR on it, with a line of we wanted him on a trial, was just a stupid idea. Clearly, if we know there's more to it, then so do Sky Sports so they were always going to dig and get more reaction. With JFH phoning in, it was even easier.

You couldn't make this stuff up could you? Martin's post match press conference might be interesting tonight if someone asks the right questions...

it sounds like allen forgot to inform hasselbaink that he wanted him to have a trial before he signed as jimmy claims he knew nothing about it & mandaric thinks he turned it down doh! to martin methinks :S
