JFH comes to Leicester for a medical and speaks with MA on the phone Arrives at the Walkers to be told the medical was off with no real explanation He is now back at Chelsea and has heard nothing since.
Simon Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Jimmy is saying that terms were agreed with Mandaric on Friday, and also spoke to to Martin Allen as well. Milan asked him to come down for a medical on Monday and Martin Allen phoned him Sunday and asked him to turn up yesterday at 3pm. When he got there he was told that the medical could not take place. He's heard nothing since. That's it. Very strange.

He then spoke to Allen on Sunday just to confirm the medical etc, and then when he turned up for the medical it was suddenly called off. There was no explanation. He is training with Chelsea reserves and is keeping fit. Sounds like a really nice guy, Martin Allen is a t*at for calling this off. Would have loved him here

The whole thing is over complicated, Maybe Allen was just going along with Milan but then decided at the last minute to stick up for himself and tell Milan the deal is off. Whatever happened Milan won't be happy with MA

I also think it lends credance to the theory that Milan has been responsible for the majority of the transfers, and maybe this was just one step too far for Allen, who eventually decided to stand up for himself (for want of a better phrase). And yet he seems far from the type who is likely to let his chairman rule the roost over what players are brought it.
Steven Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 A longer summary from M17TT C on TB. JFH Speaking Live to Sky Sports in next few minutes!!He agreed terms with MM thinking he was going to sign. He arrived in Leicester and medical was cancelled, he is saying there is a problem between MM and MA and does not know what is going on at the moment. He spoke to MM on friday and agreed terms. MM told him medical on Monday. JFH got a call from MA on Sunday to come up and take the medical on Monday. Arrived at training ground and no medical happened. No explanation, just that medical could not be completed but deal was not off. JFH is unsure what is going. Still training at Chelsea reserves, and open to any offers from anyone else. JFH says it is rubbish he is demanding 35K a week, he just wants to play football and score goals and prove people wrong about last year. JFH is unsure if deal is still on, not herd anything since yesterday.
