Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Spot on, but your telling me you could have predicted this mate, I was going to get my tix on Thursday originally :laugh:And tbh i thought we'd only just manage the original 2k of fans. My best advise would be to complain and maybe PJ would give you some tickets. Sometimes forest give the lower tier along the side (For BIG allocations- I remember Spurs did) so maybe we'll get some more Can't fecking wait We were always going to sell out, loads of factors to consider, not played them in ages not won there in so long cheap tickets and the biggest factor, it's only up the road this is why we sold 5000 out at Cov. And if people are buying them ten at a time then they're going to go aren't they. At the end of the day I have nothing to compain about, I've not even had a chance to attempt to get a ticket and they are all gone.
davieG Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 The really annoying thing is I get an email every other day from them with a duplication of what's on the web and they couldn't be bothered to send out a global message that they'd changed the selling dates. How difficult would it be FFS to put it in an email and send it to all the email addresses they've got on file, What have they got this massive fooking database for if it's not for communicating, oh selling their stupid crap LCFC World? Plus it wouldn't have cost them a penny. Sure it would still have excluded many but at least you could see them trying.
Milky Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 sometimes I don't even think st holders should get the best priority for games like this, it should be the ones who got drenched at Accrington, the ones who spent near on £100 for a day at palace, and the ones who constantly follow city round the country spending fortunes.
adam Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Here fooking here. Spent 50 quid getting to accrington and on the ticket. 60 quid at palace on Saturday. No recognition by the poxy club.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Got mine today, heard they've sold out. Yep http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1096822,00.html

Sure it would still have excluded many but at least you could see them trying. I'm 17 so I got my ticket for £4, but tbh I think £4 is too cheap as it just gets all the part-time chavs going. I was getting 3 tickets for 3 season ticket holders who have been for 5+ years...I was made to wait over an hour on the phone and only just managed to secure the tickets. 3 people in the windows and one bloke on the phone is nowhere near enough to cope with 4000 people trying to get tickets on the same day.
filbertway Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I'm glad I've got a ticket for this. Got to feel for the ST holders here though, the club have handled this terribly.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Where the **** are all these 4400 fans for the league games about a quater of that figure were at palace on saturday, and I'm willing to bet that out of those that did go palace around 3-400 will not be going forest due to the ludacris ticketing methods. sometimes I don't even think st holders should get the best priority for games like this, it should be the ones who got drenched at Accrington, the ones who spent near on £100 for a day at palace, and the ones who constantly follow city round the country spending fortunes. In an ideal world there'd be an away day priority scheme as well but if they can't even manage the STH one then there's no hope for that.
Bluefoxtim Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I'm glad I've got a ticket for this.Got to feel for the ST holders here though, the club have handled this terribly. All non ST holders should give up their tickets.
The People's Hero Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Agree with both of these. In an ideal world there'd be an away day priority scheme as well but if they can't even manage the STH one then there's no hope for that. Everytime I deal with the club, I grow more and more suspicious that they use my 'idiot list' as shortlist for potential employees.

Part time chavs are a danger. Mouth it off all game then disapear as soon as trouble starts. £4 fooking stupid.
filbertway Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 All non ST holders should give up their tickets. Except those who went Accrington I'm for that, it's only fair.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 This nonsense about contacting them before 1.15pm - if I sent two emails asking for two tickets before then, will they count that? Do they even read their emails?
Floating Fox Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Except those who went Accrington & Palace I'm for that, it's only fair. Oh & by the way, WILL YOU ANSWER YOUR FECKING PHONE MATE?
The People's Hero Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 This nonsense about contacting them before 1.15pm - if I sent two emails asking for two tickets before then, will they count that? Do they even read their emails? Give them 6 days to do it and you will eventually get a reply proving they haven't actually read the email, rather just opened it and replied asking for information already supplied in the email.
filbertway Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Cockney boy, are you getting a lift back from Forest with us?
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Here fooking here.Spent 50 quid getting to accrington and on the ticket. 60 quid at palace on Saturday. No recognition by the poxy club. I do agree that fans that follow the team should get some recognition above the go to the walkers about 4 times a season and then decide they want to go to the playoff final at Wembley types. But sorry not ST holders.
Craig Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 This nonsense about contacting them before 1.15pm - if I sent two emails asking for two tickets before then, will they count that? Do they even read their emails? They rang me up mate, saying that all emails recieved before that time would recieve tickets. But obviously i'd already got through on the phone.
Tubes Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 well ive been a season ticket holder for years now and regularly travel away and hav'nt got a ticket im so ****ing p*ssed off at the useless no good w*ankers in the ticket office i have been put on reserve after an hour on hold on the phone and made it perfectly clear they will be losing 8 season ticket holders should we not get tickets absolute joke
Floating Fox Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Cockney boy, are you getting a lift back from Forest with us? Why didnt you answer the phone? Yeeeeah more than gladly.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 They rang me up mate, saying that all emails recieved before that time would recieve tickets. But obviously i'd already got through on the phone. Sounds promising. Looking at it negatively... I only said I wanted "some tickets" so they might not count that as an order. Looking at it positively... I could try and persuade them that "some" meant 200, and sort out the likes of Mablo, Kokopops and davieG.
adam Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 For Forest away? I might go....... your on the wind up
