Message from the Chairman

It was as if to say...

"Oi Milan watch this and see the reaction that I get from the fans...They love ME...MORE than YOU!"

Hopefully this cant have been the ONLY reason, but we WILL NEVER know unfortunately.

But Thracian in response to your comments, you hammer MM cos he HAS sent a message to the fans,if he had kept quiet you'd have hammmered him too!!!

And you don't really expect him to literally count how many letters of support he has had in relation to how many letters of critisism???

Think he has a few other jobs to do before counting letters!!!

There is little substance to the message. It is simply the cold water to control a blaze.

My point about the letters is that he's inserted it selectively as a bit of clever PR - intended to give the impression that fans are divided on the issue when my strong belief is that the groundswell of anger was greater than he expected - hence the statement.

There's no question about MA milking the crowd for the reasons you suggest - he knew he was walking the plank and thought that was the only way he might survive.

Further evidence to ridicule the mutual consent notion, of course. There might have been mutual consent in the end but I doubt there was anything mutual about the calling of the final meeting.

You are trite at times.

If you want to be critical fine but what the hell has Beaglehole and the youngsters got to do with this issue?

Even without your invented add ons.

I think if you asked 100 members of this forum to predict your response to MMs message, most of them would have got to within 80% of your over critical response. I shouldn't even bother to entertain your dross so I`ll try my best in future to not make snappy responses to the drivel that you spout. No offence of course as sometimes you do talk sense but it only is sometimes lol

Must not respond to the Thracian

Must not respond to the Thracian

Must not respond to the Thracian

Must not respond to the Thracian

Must not respond to the Thracian

Repeat until hand falls off.

Do you REALLY think MM wouldn't have expected such a back lash from the fans?

Im sure even MM's biggest critics would say he isn't stupid.

After a 4-1 win and then the Forest game,im sure MM knew he'd get ALOt of backlash fron the fans...Does this not show balls and an eagerness to get to his goal no matter what???

He Started De Vries.

In most Leicester fans eyes thats a criminal offence.

The only thing predictable was your drone of a response.

He didnt say he wanted to go through 20 new managers but confirmed that he is focused on getting it right at all costs. One of the thing that I think is wrong with this club is our pitter patter softly softly approach down the years and here we have a ruthless but ambitious man in charge who wants us to get to the promised land whilst people like you prefer to go the other way. I know, lets get Beaglehole in, recall all the kids out on loan and slowly build to success without trying to upset anyone as we want to keep our integrity.

I think its time that supporters like you developed a backbone and put your handbag down before scratch someone with it. The decision has been made so dust yourself down and get on with it.

Isn't that what some people are suggesting that Allen got the sack for?

When a player gets booked 13 times in a season it's a fair assumption that 13 referees weren't all wrong. In the case of Mandaric, 13 sacked managers suggests to me that the chairman ought to look at himself first before requesting blind faith in his judgement.

The message is quite clear.

'I'm the boss and don't **** with me'

Never mind ONE TEAM ONE DREAM

the above should be our loggo

'I'm the boss and don't **** with me' :D

We are not sure why MA got the boot and all we are doing is speculating. Its probably a mixture of a personality clash, MM not being impressed with what he saw within 3 months and his inability to attract big name players to get the fans excited and through the turnstiles. Obviously there must have been plenty more than just that but the chairman wasnt happy so made a decision. Ive said before that I think that we should have kept MA from what I have seen, especially on Saturday against Watford but we dont know what MMs expectations were of MA and whther he achieved his initial targets.

Its quite funny because as a retail manager I always had the luxury of a probation period of 3 months to see if my choice of hiring somebody was the right one. MM didnt have that luxury but got rid anyway! Its a tough business all in all but I would rather have someone like MM in my corner than the opponents thats for sure.

There is a few problems with this move by Milan though.

1.) Being so ruthless like this doesn't make the job attractive to get a manager from another club if you want one. So it seems that we'll be looking at the unemployed - and Paul Jewel could be a target for a few other clubs if they look at us and take the same drastic action to their managers. (Say Crystal Palace?)

2.) Transfer dead line today - so who ever comes in, they have to work with Allen's players - and plants and Gardener unless they got booted too!

3.) The clubs always been pretty stable in it's un-stability - this just adds to it

4.) He's got at least some fans on the wrong side - putting pressure on himself

5.) Timing was awlful - mean he could have waited for a defeat, wouldn't have been to far round the corner surely!

6.) Makes the players un-certain and could make it harder to attract quality to the club. If we wanted to sign Danny Murphy, he'd want to now the manager he sign's under would be the manager for at least the next season surely? Poor old Carl Cort must be deverstated!

Could it be that Milan finds the new Alain Perrin for us who does shit, meanwhile Allen goes to Forest to manage for a bit and does shit, Maderic and Allen then suddenly have a love in, we go full circle and employee Allen, who miraclasey save us from going down, then gives us a promising following season and finally some rich Russian comes and buy's the club off Milan? Oh and we get sponsored by a Teddy Bear Maker!

If so - Great, fun days ahead!

I don't know Thracian from Adam but it seems to me that he has a quality of putting a slant on things away from the usual. However, forums like this are meant for open debate - it scares me this ' MM is our saviour , has invested the cash and therefore what he says goes''. Yes of course we will still shout for the team and support them but sometimes it is simply a question of right and wrong and in my opinion MM has acted in an incorrect manner and is only making things worse by threatening to sue a paper(does what they wrote really warrant it????) - his statement is a damage limitation one as he has obviously seen the anger he has caused.

His actions are not good business - if the director of a major company acted like that he would have a lot of people to answer to - just because this is football things are different.

Would MoN survive MM??? I doubt it - he didn't keep his opinions to himself so easily either. Not impressed Milan not impressed at all but of course we are all still ''Leicester till I die''

Quick question for all you 'Milan's money, Milan's club' people

If you were a Chelski fan, an Abrmovic had sacked Jose, what would you have made of that?

Just because you own the club, doesn't give you the right to act like a knob!

When did 'Premiership within three years' become:-

.................. and work toward our goal of promotion this season.

Why the increased urgency? I can wait 3 seasons if it means we might actually stay-up. Perhaps this moving of targets didn't help the MM/MA relationship.

I'm a believer in building slowly. Nothing wrong with that as long as continual improvement is evident.

How predictable was that for a damage limitation exercise?

And the only reason he's needed to write it is because the weight of criticism has shocked him.

I notice he doesn't indicate how many letters of support compared with the letters of criticism.

But it doesn't matter. It would make no difference to him.

He still talks of having 20 managers.

Instead of the right one from the start.

Most chairman at least give the impression that stability is important.

Mandaric assumes he'll be walking on people from the off.

He reminds me of the sort of people who headed an American-run business conference I attended in Birmingham.

Everyone was like those high-pressure timeshare salesmen you come across.

Blinkered, driven and totally uncaring in their single minded quest for success.

I've come across the American way first hand and I don't like it one bit.

Self, self, self...sue, sue, sue.

Here we go again......more bullshite

I back Milan.

I think the reason people are saying "Milan's money, Milan's club" as you put it is because he wants us to get promoted as much as we do.

For completely different reasons obviously, but he makes money if we get in the Premiership and stay there.

Also, the Jose analogy is ridiculous.

Maybe if Allen had been at the club for a few seasons and won a couple of titles before finishing second then you might have a point.

The reason I put it in was that would surely have been an unpopular move at Chelsea. And it seems as if there was a similar situation, in which the owner wanted certain players that the manager did not.

Those two at Chelsea were big enough to resolve their differences for now - i just think it was a shame that Milan didn't take a step back after the events of Tuesday and think well maybe I should give this guy more of a chance, after all I did see something in him only 3 months ago.

For those of you that know me well I have always attempted to be transparent and open about every issue that directly affects the club on and off the field.

That would be precisely who? :dunno:

Interesting reading. Implies something serious happened between Sunday & Wednesday. I still stick with my theory of MA being a nasty so & so who bullied people at the club.

:w00t: just goes to show, how some people just aren't bright enough to understand anything....

Thrac, I admire you for expressing your opinion so explicitly.

Yes I am really pissed off and disheartened too, yes I expected exactly this type of fenced statement from Milan, and yes I disagree with the sacking based on the information I have seen.

However as quite a few have said there is not a damn thing we can do about it, and we have to trust him because like it or not if you dont trust him it doesnt make the slightest bit of difference.

43 games yet to play - for sure we wont be going up if he has to go through 20 managers, but obviously that comment was meant with a pinch of salt.

I am disappointed we have got to 8pm and still not signed anyone. I guess we will be looking at some loan signings instead.

From the clubs perspective the next 2 weeks will be very much a re grouping excercise.

As a supporter, I am getting up at 6 and probably wont be home before midnight so I can go and get behind the team. Lets get this game out of the way then we can focus on next steps.

To be fair I can't actually think of an analogy.

Thracian, similes and analogies are your department, help me out.

Hmmm.

I must've read Milans statement a dozen times, and gone through the gamut of Allen vs Mandaric replies, and I think now in all honesty I don't really care who did what, or who turns out to be in the wrong.

If I have to make a choice, I choose NOT to choose, and just to back the team, who, lets face it, need everybody behind em now more than ever.

I don't expect a win tomorrow. In fact, I expect us to get a hiding, but after this week, it'd be understandable, although a few people i've spoke to expect the players to come out of this fighting and to pull off a tremendous win tomorrow.

I hope it happens, but I don't think it will.

So, i'm done with this silly 'i'm siding with blah blah blah' business... Chairmen and Managers come and go, but the City always remains.

I know where my loyalty lies :D

Apologies in advance btw. I'm a little drunk...
