we did experience that fairly recently when Martin O'Neill left to take over at Celtic and he achieved a damn sight more here then Holloway has there yet there was no hard feelings and we wished him well

no he hasn't he resigned because they wouldn't let him talk to us (at least that's 1 of the reasons) and you were probably going to flog all you best players like Norris and best prospects like Gosling, and he'd get a pittance to replace them, why don't you form a fans group to invest in the club as you lack of finances will mean this will always be the case for you

That could be a problem, they don't have enough fans who care to go to games for a start.. :whistle: Cant be bothered to pay a tenner and get down the ground on a Saturday afternoon, doubt anyone would invest. Too busy sniffing that sea breeze and skipping around the countryside. Its great down there. :giggle:

For giving us a proper " Leicester type " manager. Just like MON was and Little and yes even Martin Allen( public persona at least ) , you have delivered a man that can motivate and organize average players to play better and one who will unite club,fans and players to have a real surge for the play-offs.

God the amount of a bitching and moaning from the Plymouth fans is annoying. He's left you, deal with it. What exactly would you expect him to say- No I don't really like Plymouth, I'd really like to leave when the first club with potential comes along? Of course not. He had to do a job for Plymouth Argyle FC and he felt that that was the best way to get everyone on side. Fair play to him. Some people are just fooking stupid.

Do people not think that maybe, just maybe he wants to be at a club that has potential and can challenge for promotion? The potential and size of the club at Leicester is much bigger than Plymouth. Face it. It's just like if Celtic came in for our manager and he said 'look fellas, Celtic are a massive club...' Oh shit, wait, it happened. Did we all turn round and call MON Judas? No we fooking didn't cause we appreciated what he did for this club. On top of that our board were really sensible about things (for once!) and did the best thing they thought they could for both clubs.

Holloway is trying to further his career and get a bit more money into the bargain because he's good at his job.

Get over it.

I'm not being funny mate but its not about whether you are a bigger club or not. Its the fact that 3 days ago he was saying stuff about how hes not going to leave plymouth and how he cares to much about the players to leave the club and other shit like that. If he had just shut his gob and wasn't such a hypocrite it wouldnt have been half as bad. Ian holloway is a dishonest, hypocritical manager who is just in it for the money, lets be honest here you dont exactly have the best team (dont take offence and start mouthing off but you just have to look at your league position for proof). To be honest i hope Argyle put holloway on gardening leave. Also how the hell is going to another championship side a move up in his carrer and lets face it holloway is nothing more then a last minuite scramble by Mandaric to get a manager in time for your next game.

... Yes as you can tell i am a plymouth fan :)

It's all very different when it happens to "your" club, believe me we've all been through it and it's frustrating, we as Leicester have gone through this feeling more times than we have snatched someone else manager/players i'm sure.

However it's much easier to put it into perspective when the positive of it is happening to you/your club. "Ian Holloway is a disloyal, hypocritical manager who is just in it for the money"

It's his job remember that...Do you go to work because you love your company? No, You do it for the money, fair enough you probably don't go round saying "i'm going no-where" and to be honest most people probably wouldn't be that bothered if you left your job, but it's the same scenario really....It's a job of course he in it for the money.

I'm happy about this don't get me wrong but Milan's being contradictory again. He says he wants someone loyal, someone who will honour a contract (Unlike what Megson did is basically what Milan was saying...Although as fans we we're over the moon) well he's basically gone for a manager who has been disloyal and not honouring his contract in Holloway (As I said don't get me wrong, I'm fairly happy about this) along with that I think Milan forget he sacked Martin Allen.

(I know we haven't got the Holloway thing signed, sealed and delivered but come on what the other reason Holloway's resigned, we all know the deal is almost there surly :unsure:)

I can understand you're upset and disappointed but you've missed the point slightly- it precisely IS because we're a bigger club. You think he'd want to go to Bristol City or most other clubs in the league if they were in the same position as us? In any case if he had just kept his mouth shut then more than likely you'd have had a bitch about that as well saying 'why hasn't he come out and made a comment or anything?' so he's in a no win position.

I'm not gonna start mouthing off about our team- it isn't the best, but it DOES have the potential; 21000 fans watching pretty dire football sitting near the bottom of the league or a team thats pushing for the play-offs barely getting 12000? You can say what you like but I honestly don't believe its about the money.

Anyway, you should be bloody thankful for what Holloway's done for you. Where the hell would you be now without him?

You have raised some pretty good points there and have someone changed made me more aware of when argyle have stolen over clubs managers before.

Yeah i can imagine you would be over the moon just like i was when we first signed him. Dont get me wrong Holloway was a good manager, he made some awesome signings including Sinclair on loan from chelsea (One day this kid will be a very big name).

Holloway will definelty sign for you, The only reason i can assume he resigned is that the board wouldnt allow for him to hold talks with Leicester. However If argyle were to be cheecky we could just put him on gardening leave which would be bloody harsh but no more then he deserved from my prospective.

Anyway COME ON ENGLAND.

Sorry i dont quite get how we would be in league one without him? Also you would not have stood a chance of signing holloway without Milan who is prepared to pay him £400,000 a year!! Yeah as you said we dont have the biggest fan base which does make you a bigger club in that sense but in my Opinion we do have probebly the best away support in the league although i dont really have much to compare it to as not many fans travel down to plymouth :rolleyes:

Look i hope you have good luck with holloway and do well except when you play us. Im over holloway leaving now, time to steal someone elses manager :giggle:
