Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Has old Stinkovic ever done anything by the book ? Hows it going to feel when you're still paying Holloway for doing the dirty on you? While your new manager is doing a great job of making sure you play Forest next year?
Nath Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Look at all these jealous Plywood's coming on to our board now. Quite pleasing to know they are giving us the thought and time. Aswell as making fool's of themself's and their city. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
davieG Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Good luck, if he's successful with you he'll be off to a bigger club than you at the drop of a hat, despite what he may say Was it ever different! Frank O'Farrell LCFC Manager Dec 1968 to June 1971. Left to manage Manchester United
Bryn Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Surprised at the bitterness of the Argyle fans... though glad to see it's vented towards their manager who has admittedly not conducted himself well, rather than at our club. Though, perhaps your anger would be better directed at a board who failed to support one of your better managers of all time, rather than at said manager?
We Are Argyle Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Look at all these jealous Plywood's coming on to our board now.Quite pleasing to know they are giving us the thought and time. Aswell as making fool's of themself's and their city. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Your Managers office has a revolving door and an ejection seat hasn't it ?
smokey Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 lol Stop living with the fairies. Im not idiot! I know our club is a joke of late but this is still a great job if given time to be succesfull!
We Are Argyle Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Look nothing against you lot as fans but from our point of view this has been all very underhand . Has OiLIE even spoke to your lot yet . He is still an employee of our Club . All very strange.
Simon Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 God the amount of a bitching and moaning from the Plymouth fans is annoying. He's left you, deal with it. What exactly would you expect him to say- No I don't really like Plymouth, I'd really like to leave when the first club with potential comes along? Of course not. He had to do a job for Plymouth Argyle FC and he felt that that was the best way to get everyone on side. Fair play to him. Some people are just fooking stupid. Do people not think that maybe, just maybe he wants to be at a club that has potential and can challenge for promotion? The potential and size of the club at Leicester is much bigger than Plymouth. Face it. It's just like if Celtic came in for our manager and he said 'look fellas, Celtic are a massive club...' Oh shit, wait, it happened. Did we all turn round and call MON Judas? No we fooking didn't cause we appreciated what he did for this club. On top of that our board were really sensible about things (for once!) and did the best thing they thought they could for both clubs. Holloway is trying to further his career and get a bit more money into the bargain because he's good at his job. Get over it.
hollowhead Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Probably. Aint that how the big wide world works?! As long as he gets us there, we're all happy! Doubt he'll wait that long! Heard he's become a bit partial to tricky trees what with all the gardening leave, and I guess his dislike of red may have been a lie too
We Are Argyle Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 None of your previous 4 managers this season have found any potential .
oggie Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Surprised at the bitterness of the Argyle fans... though glad to see it's vented towards their manager who has admittedly not conducted himself well, rather than at our club. Though, perhaps your anger would be better directed at a board who failed to support one of your better managers of all time, rather than at said manager? On the link http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/displayNod...;pNodeId=135637 there is a paragraph which reads:- Holloway said: "Every time I have wanted a player these people (the Board) have bought me one. It's as simple as that.
The Stig Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 None of your previous 4 managers this season have found any potential . I know, I'm a Plymouth fan, and our manager has left to go to Leicester. Oooh I've got a good idea, lets join a LEICESTER CITY forum and start lots of arguments with them. Aren't I clever! Honestly, it's like these Plymouth fans think it was our fault that Ollie left them! Bet they think Milan had nothing to do with it!
The Reverend Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 None of your previous 4 managers this season have found any potential . You're boring mate. Wheres that Argyle fan gone that were'nt a nob rot, he told the truth. You are a fool. You are only kidding yourself really are'nt you?!
Finnegan Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 None of your previous 4 managers this season have found any potential . That's why we sacked them. The potential is the money. We have it, you don't. Cry us a river of your tears and fock off back to your forum if you've not got anything intelligent to contribute.
Rich Fox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Wouldnt surprise me if milan went for someone else now, the same thing happened when holloway left QPR. Funny how all these thick plymouth fans are calling our chairman when they would soon be supporting him if he was at there club. 12000 fans at home matches is a joke your not much bigger than nuneaton boro.
The Stig Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 That's why we sacked them. The potential is the money. We have it, you don't. Cry us a river of your tears and fock off back to your forum if you've not got anything intelligent to contribute. Exactly, the immaturity of some of them is typical of your average football fan with no intelligence who likes football just to argue with other fans. Pointless and immature.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 None of your previous 4 managers this season have found any potential . I'm afraid you must be jealous of our club mate... we've a massive fanbase and potential compared to your lot, how many seasons in the Premier League have you had, how many Trophies have you won, did you have any players in the England 1966 World Cup Winning 11 blah blah blah... There is massive potential here and unlike yourselves, at least our rivals are quite big clubs too... Forest, Derby and Cov.. UNLIKE Exeter and Torquay... and now possibly Yeovil. I hate the lack of loyalty as much as you, but if Holloway was to do well here and Man.Utd or Arsenal came in for him, then he'd leave us.. THAT'S LIFE !!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 We are all in support of our Board on this one - Gardening Leave beckons for OiLIE .Your long wait will continue I'm afraid - not the fault of you fans but your weird Chairman . Milan Mandaric or Paul Stapleton.. hmmm that's a hard one... you'd gladly welcome Milan to your club as you only get 12,000 home fans at your home games.. pathetic and we have to compete with The Tigers Rugby Club too
Jimmy Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Hollowhead in his BBC column on 2nd November when asked about other clubs interested in him:But there's no truth in it, and all it does is upset some Plymouth Argyle fans who think I might be moving. I've signed a contract and until my chairman tells me any different, I'm staying here. Good luck, if he's successful with you he'll be off to a bigger club than you at the drop of a hat, despite what he may say we did experience that fairly recently when Martin O'Neill left to take over at Celtic and he achieved a damn sight more here then Holloway has there yet there was no hard feelings and we wished him well Look nothing against you lot as fans but from our point of view this has been all very underhand .Has OiLIE even spoke to your lot yet . He is still an employee of our Club . All very strange. no he hasn't he resigned because they wouldn't let him talk to us (at least that's 1 of the reasons) and you were probably going to flog all you best players like Norris and best prospects like Gosling, and he'd get a pittance to replace them, why don't you form a fans group to invest in the club as you lack of finances will mean this will always be the case for you
Blue Bob Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 On the link http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/displayNod...;pNodeId=135637 there is a paragraph which reads:- I am sorry that none of you seemed to have realised that football is a game not only on the pitch but off it as well. Managers, chairmen and players all play a game telling fans what they think they want to hear - all of them are taught how to del with the media. Rarely do you hear much truth from any of them thats why they all talk in cliches such as hes an honest lad, we are still learning as a team ect ect..... that is all just to say something in front of the cameras without actually saying the truth. What did you expect him to say about his employers - sorry you dont pay me enough, you dont have the financial might to get us into the premier league let alone stay there??? Think about it when you have moved jobs do you shoot your mouth off before have secured a new job (or at all for that matter??) in general NO you dont you keep your employer sweet as you dont know how long you have to wait to find a new job and you are aware that you still have bills to pay. The sooner your fans realise this is just reality the sooner you can move on
BigGibbo Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Blah blah blah, I for one do hope this deal comes off so i can come back into this part of the forum without wanting to bludgeon people to death.
STUHILL Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I know everyone talks about that awful QPR game when Holloway was in charge but does anyone know what kind of football Holloway likes his teams to play????? Please tell me Plymouth are the brazilian side of the championship!!!

Simon Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I fear probably not. You do what you can with what you've got. Needs and must and what have you.
