The Reverend Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 sorry if i have ambition! Is that what you call it?!
Raj Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Nailed on loss this one.Anyone who goes has my respect. I second The Revs thoughts. i once went to Burnden Park, midweek when McGhee was in charge. we were in the uncovered end near the Shop and it pissed it down non stop It was 0-0 i think. People who say"Thats what footballs all about' are wrong. It fcuking isnt.
Sods Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Burnley on a bit of a high at the moment. Beating watford and charlton away. Comftably
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 The games are coming fast I was just thinking that.

Sods Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Seems like there's gunna be f all fans there, how many you reckon we'll take? 400/500? haha 200/300 more like
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 As a committed supporter of our youth players I don't think it's that easy. We're already playing five youngsters regularly and six in some matches. Hullfox wants some muscle and while I might not put it that way we certainly need a few quality senior professionals around the scene. N'Gotty is one, not expecially because he's tough but because he plays the ball out of defence on the floor when he can. Cort doesn't need exile - he needs to be fit. And the sooner Collins John, Elvis Hammond and DJ Campbell are back as options the better. But young players like Ashley Chambers, Riccy Sappleton, Eric Odhiambo, Billy McKay and Billy Kee aren't ready yet and it will do our side no good to pretend they are. Individual cameos from the bench occasionally but no more than that this season. Max Gradel is the only remaining youngster I would like to see just now simply because of our desperate need in that position. But I wouldn't be against giving Kaebi some time in right midfield as well. Because we really do need some pace and movement and, whatever his other faults, Kaebi can offer those qualities. Back at Fulham receiving treatment...
shrood Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 haha 200/300 more like Yeah prolly, the geezer from the ticket office absolutely pissed himself when I asked if he thought there would still be tickets on the gate.
WetFlannel Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 is the striking situation still as bad as the southampton match??? i expect cort wont be looking forward to his matches now until he gets a goal...
Staf Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 I will be delighted with a point but i think we will lose
James. Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 If it's anything like the shambles of a performance at home the other week I pity anyone who is going. Fair play to you though. I personally think it'll be 1-1.
Simi Posted 3 December 2007 Author Posted 3 December 2007 Leicester City assistant manager Tim Breaker has confirmed that the Foxes have no fresh injury worries as they prepare to take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening. The City squad was down to the bare bones for Saturday's game against Southampton - with DJ Campbell (knee), Collins John (hamstring), Elvis Hammond (ankle), James Chambers (thigh), James Wesolowski (hamstring) and Matty Fryatt (suspended) all missing. And while the Foxes will not be welcoming back any of their injured party for the Clarets clash, Breaker revealed that the list had not been added to following last weekend's exertions. He said: "We have got a few players who need patching up following our game against Southampton on Saturday, but we should be able to travel to Burnley with a similar squad. "Having so many players missing is obviously not ideal, but we just have to get on with it." Carl Cort (pictured), meanwhile, climbed off the treatment table and put in a stint for just over an hour against George Burley's men - despite going into the game without training for a fortnight. Breaker added: "We are in a situation where we need to manage Carl. We were really grateful that he put himself up to play on Saturday because other players might not have done that in his situation. "Carl hadn't trained for a couple of weeks yet he went out there and gave it his best. That's all we are asking for." "Elvis Hammond, ankle"
Joe. Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 It's got shit game written all over it. A 1-0 either way is probable.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 They've spelt Breacker's name wrong in that article. Probably fair enough seeing as we've had at least five assistant managers so far this season.
maddog Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 De Vries was great at the start of the season, had bags of confidence and was scoring, hell remember that amazing half volley he did that hit the bar against Blackpool. I see no confidence in Cort and he doesn't get any shots on goal. Hume used to put effort in and score, now he puts effort in and cant score. Is he really good enough? Fryatt has had a few good games but most awful and i think he's a fat lazy waste of space. Its good Chambers and Sappleton are being introduced but they don't have the experience, but i hate the word 'experience' especially when it comes to football. Who gives a fook about experience, how will players get experience? Campbell has shone sometimes but has looked a little de motivated on occasions, another confidence player. If Cort is given confidence im sure he will be great. Of course it won't happen but if every of the 20000 home fans just sung his name randomly, he would feel wanted and probably score. We do have a bit of a striker crisis, a lot of average strikers none of which can score. Id be for bringing De Vries back and for Leicester signing a real goalscorer in January. But where do Leicester get a goalscorer? How the fook do i no im not a scout Cort and Sappleton up front Tuesday, Cort needs games and confidence. Hume on bench and another striker bloke. With all our injuries Kaebi has got to make the team. He may as well leave if he doesn't play now
Simon Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Doesn't look like we're going to be able to change things much tomorrow night, so I'll go with the following, given our injury situation: FulopStearman, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, SheehanKaebi, King, Clem, HayesCort, HumeSubs: McAuley, Newton, Odhiambo, Chambers, Hellings
filbertway Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Give me a B give me an A Give me an M Give me an ESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
SamL Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Doesn't look like we're going to be able to change things much tomorrow night, so I'll go with the following, given our injury situation: FulopStearman, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, SheehanKaebi, King, Clem, HayesCort, HumeSubs: McAuley, Newton, Odhiambo, Chambers, Hellings Thats probably the best we can hope for but i'm sure newton will play instead of Kaebi
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 They've spelt Breacker's name wrong in that article. Probably fair enough seeing as we've had at least five assistant managers so far this season. Shame they didn't spell it as 'Beaker' a-la the muppets!
Jack Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Thats probably the best we can hope for but i'm sure newton will play instead of Kaebi Never gonna happen, but would be nice.
