Maybes Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Going to the Blackhorse matey? Just stand mate. Yeah I think thats what its called.
C-man Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Yeah I think thats what its called. If its just off the A444, thats the one. I'll be in there around 1.45, I work round the corner from there and finish at 1.30. Who's going with you Maybury?
Daggers Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Anyone fancy a lift from Brum - the Daggersmobile will be leaving Erdington around 1pm. C'mon Walkers, I'll even drop you back at the station and waver my usual 'blow job for the driver' rule.

Any plans to go via Glen Parva and Bedworth? Possibly IKEA as well?

sidwell Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 The one opposite the stadium's pretty good, every time i've been to their vile stadium i've parked there, It's pricey at 10 quid but close and safe. Or you could just park on a road close by, walk and keep 10 quid.
Scow Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 There is a car park just off the motorway junction that I will be using. I will post the link later once I have booked my spot its £4.30 rising to £5 on the day. 15 minute walk from the ground. 2minute walk from the pub..SAFE I take it you mean this one - and assuming you've booked it by now? I've booked that too, I'm hoping my car will get me there and back.
lee7 Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Or you could just park on a road close by, walk and keep 10 quid. i don't think you can park within a mile of the stadium (unless you park in a car park) or something like that. if you do then you get a £30 fine
Alexikokopops Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Do you know if you can get a 'match day ticket' on WM buses so you can travel around all day on any WM bus (in Cov) PLUS use the shuttle from Pool Meadow to the ground? [ I want to get tp Cov, go to a certain part of town, get to the ground, then use the shuttle to get back into town ]Ta! I'm not sure, I seem to remember paying again when I got on the specific football bus but I haven't been for a couple of years. Only £2.50 (might've gone up to £2.60) for a daysaver so you might as well go for it, especially since it's pretty much £1.30 for a single anywhere.

SamL Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Anyone got an idea on how many tickets we have got left? Less than 2000.
SamL Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 From the OS: Just 1,500 away tickets remain on general sale for Leicester City's Championship clash against local rivals Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday. The Foxes received an additional 2,000 tickets this morning (Tuesday) after selling out their initial allocation of 3,000. And the Walkers Stadium ticket office have reported that business has been brisk following the arrival of the second batch of tickets - with 500 being snapped up in the first three hours of business. A City spokesman said: "Demand for this game was high last week - but it is fair to say that it has certainly intensified following our magnificent victory over Norwich at the weekend. "We have already seem massive numbers of supporters take to the roads for our Carling Cup games this season, but the Coventry match certainly looks like being our highest attended Championship away game by some distance. "If current buying patterns continue then there is no doubt that we will sell out ahead of the game. Our message to supporters is therefore simply to purchase their tickets at the earliest possible opportunity." City's biggest away following of the season to date came when they took 6,244 to the Fourth Round Carling Cup clash against Chelsea in October. Over 5,000 fans made the trip to the City Ground for the second round fixture against Nottingham Forest in the same competition, while 4,130 Leicester supporters attended the third round tie against Aston Villa at Villa Park. City's biggest away following in the Championship this season (1,707) witnessed their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Blackpool at Bloomfield Road earlier this month. Leicester were backed by 5,299 supporters when they faced the Sky Blues at the Ricoh Arena in April 2006. Supporters can call in to the Walkers Stadium ticket office in person to purchase their tickets for the game, or email the club directly with their contact details at [email protected]. Fans can also call 0844 815 5000 to secure their seats - but please be aware that the lines are extremely busy at present. Meanwhile, the Club have currently sold out 10 Fox Travel coaches for the fixture - with more seats available should they be required priced from £10 for Adult Season Ticket Holders and £8 Concession Season Ticket Holders. Free car parking will be available in the Raw Dykes Road Car Park (Leicester). The 1884 Sports Bar will be open from 11.30 and all City fans going to the Ricoh Arena will be able to benefit from a special offer in the City Megastore, with 30% off Replica Shirts, Flags, Hats Scarves and Gloves from 9.00am until 1pm.
Nath Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 accroding to the OS we had sold 3 500 by 12. so i should imagine that if we kept the rate going, we should have sold 4,000 by now... EDIT: Sam beat me to it.
