Big Ol Bob can't make new topics yet so i've done it for him. Cheers Bob and Welcome.

"Sorry to butt in the middle of the Savage and Roberts transfer convo, but for some reason it wont allow me to create a new topic???

Anyway, my wife Anne has a sister who works as a physiotherapist down at Upton Park. She is only at 2 training sessions during midweek at Chadwell heath (West Ham's training ground), and works the majority of the time with the Academy players. She has one session a week with one half of the first team, seeing as though herself and her colleague are assigned certain players on certain sessions to help with injuries and so on. The other day she travelled up here to see the kids, bring round their Xmas presents and had dinner before they set back off down south. Whilst talking to her about how her work is we got onto the subject of how many injuries there have been down at West Ham this year, she then began to talk about how Lee Bowyer is in talks with Ollie about a possible move to Leicester. Apparently he has held talks with Watford, Palace and us after Alan Curbishley told him he can leave in January if he and his agent can find a club. She said this is the reason why he has suddenly became unheard of around West Ham, he was due back in time for the Reading game last week but has been away for 4 weeks after what was supposed to be a one game ban, and he has only been in training twice, but was suited up and drove off with his agent after talking to coach Mervyn Day at both training sessions.

Was rather interesting to hear, only have to wonder wether Bowyer would leave London to the Midlands or wether he would stay in the city. The bloke isn't a bad little player, has had his fair share of trouble in the past but I thought he has been doing alright so far this season. Get him in Ollie!"

Seem to remember his name been linked in the summer.

Wouldn't be a bad signing I don't reckon.

Has looked alright this season when i've seen him and can be that attacking force in midfield, i'd take him, it would be risky but i'd take him.

This would be a very good signing, could still cut it I reckon in the Prem for the likes of Wigan, Sunderland and so on.

The only problem is what he does off the field.

How many posts before you can make a topic then? :dunno:
Well it now says I CAN make a new topic, a little late however!

A limit was put on, 5 I think to stop spammers coming on here making one topic and then clearing off.

i wonder if this is what Milan and Ollie were referring to when they said Teams like Crystal Palace were pushing up prices...

It could be a very positive signing. Perhaps the club could get him to head up our "Kick Racism Out of Football" campaign.

He's an absloute twat who I have no repsect for. Good player that he is he isn't good enough to make me over look the fact that he's a foul mouthed dick head who been in the media more for his inabilty to control his temper both on and off the field than for his abilty as a midfielder. Defensive midfileder might I add, which we don't need, and I'm getting really sick of saying that.

Not that I believe this.

Hmm... I remember the days when we had drunks and sex maniacs playing in the first eleven for Leicester... And nobody really had an issue with that, because they still loved the game and always gave their best when fielded.

So, I wouldn't mind Bowyer joining the club. I'm sure he has something to play for.

Bowyer was an attacking midfielder at Leeds.

He scored one goal every five games while he was there, a better rate than that of some of our current strikers.

Unless he's developed a social conscience in recent months, which would persuade him to take a massive drop in his salary, I doubt he'll be wearing a City shirt every time soon..

How do you know we don't have them now?.. lol

Blimey, Adolf will be on here preaching about the evils of anti-semitism next.

Big difference between someone who drinks and shags his way around the city and one who to quote Wikipedia:

first drew attention in 1994, when he and a teammate failed a test for cannabis use

was accused of an alleged racial incident in a McDonald's in London

was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and affray

was in the media spotlight again after an on-pitch brawl with teammate Kieron Dyer in Newcastle United's Premiership match with Aston Villa. This resulted in a red card, plus a further three game ban

was charged in connection with the brawl by Northumbria Police with public order offences, under section four of the Public Order Act

Five incidents in 13 years.

Cannabis - well, that's a harsh one! :crylaugh:

The racial incident - alleged. :dunno:

That leaves three incidents in 13 years.
