Surely it doesn't take that long to travel to Sunderland (even with all the New Year travel chaos)...

Well QPR have signed 3 players today so if they were interested why not 4? I think QPR will be linked to every available player either by the media with no story or his agent for a better deal. Fulop has come out and said he wants to come to Leicester, we do have money and we are spending it, even Qpr cannot afford every player in the world, christ they will be buying Anelka next

davieG Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 As usual it's all about brinkmanship, Sunderland trying to push the price up by pulling him back and making it known to one and all that he's available at the right price hoping for a bidding war and LCFC trying to keep it down by expressing their interest doesn't stretch beyond what they've offered hoping no one else is interested. LCFC will have a maximum figure and Sunderland a minimum. In the end it will need a bit of give and take before each side settles on an acceptable price.
