The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Doing nothing at Chester City. That even rhymes with Leicester City. It's a sign. I bet they don't chant for him. Come home Gavin, come home.
Head Honcho Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 It's brinksmanship.Obviously Sunderland don't need him otherwise they wouldn't be offering him (I still can't understand how we got a season long loan with an option to recall half way - surely that's a a half season loan with an option to extend?) I think Sunderland will be open for negotiation when no other club makes a bid - though this might mean having to wiat until the end of Jan to get him back That's the gamble you take with loan players though isn't it? He plays well for you and his value goes up-he was a free transfer wasn't he and now they want £3 million. To be fair to Sunderland they took the gamble and gave him a contract and now they want to cash in on their investment.
Phlashman Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I think Milan should work one of his special deals. £1.5m now, and £3m if we go up this year, £2.5m if we go up next year. If we go up then it's not really an issue. For me Fulop is probibly the best signing we've had this season. But equally I don't want Milan and Ollie to get mugged by Sunderland.
mancunianfox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'm sorry but Fulop's not worth £3 million. That sort of money for a player unproven in the Premiership is ridiculous. We could buy a decent midfield with that sort of money and that would be more beneficial to us than an expensive keeper.
Daggers Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 This entire thread is a joke - there is no way we are going to sign someone who isn't injury-prone or 30+ and prepared to sign a ludicrous contract to keep them at the club until they are 35. He's not even over-weight for ****s sake. What are some of you lot on? C'mon Milan, more crap signings please ~ enough of this interest in decent players bollocks.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'd prefer Mark Bunn for £500,000 and a couple of midfielders.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'd prefer Mark Bunn for £500,000 and a couple of midfielders. You would, Norfamptan boy.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 You would, Norfamptan boy. Bunn will have a better career than Fryatt.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Bunn will have a better career than Fryatt. Oh no he wont. Yay, it's Panto season.
Daggers Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Bunn will have a better career than Fryatt. Not if he comes to us he won't
Alexikokopops Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'd prefer Mark Bunn for £500,000 and a couple of midfielders. Who've Telford Washing Machines got in goal?
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Who've Telford Washing Machines got in goal? Brian Whirlpool.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Who've Telford Washing Machines got in goal? I dunno but they're lining up an audacious swoop for a Championship goalkeeper from Australia.
Master Fox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Oh no he wont.Yay, it's Panto season. You'll be getting the youtube clips out next ....
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 You'll be getting the youtube clips out next .... I think I might make one about Ian Humes wonder goals, just to make you happy.
Master Fox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I think I might make one about Ian Humes wonder goals, just to make you happy. Oh please! Would you..? I'd be most grateful!
Jonezy Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Fulop is not even in the Sunderland squad today...... Keane and Quinn are officially wankers......
The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Fulop is not even in the Sunderland squad today...... Keane and Quinn are officially wankers...... I imagine Fulop is a bit aggrieved too.
Jonezy Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I imagine Fulop is a bit aggrieved too. Poor fellow, he just want to play some football..... (Especially for Leicester)
Zingari Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 dunno how reliable this is probably just wishful thinking £1million Fulop set for Leicester City 07:37 January, 2, 2008 Leicester City Football Club have been tipped to sign Marton Fulop on a permanent contract. The 24-year-old Hungarian has played under four managers at the Walkers Stadium this season, yet current boss Ian Holloway has lost him as he has been recalled to the Sunderland squad by Roy Keane. However, with Craig Gordon, a £9million summer signing from Hearts, well established at the Stadium of Light and Darren Ward his number two, there appears little chance of Fulop forcing his way into the Black Cats side. It is now being reported that Holloway will return for the former Tottenham Hotspur custodian and will offer £1million for his services on a permanent basis, which would represent a profit of around £500,000 for the Premier League side. Obviously I hope this story it true though.

Bring Hendo in and we just collapse. £3 million is probably Keano's way as getting as much as possible. We'll prob get him for £1.5 million........ I hope.
